ISS STOXX is looking for an Index Sales Specialist to support our business development efforts across the UK, Ireland and MEA markets for our suite of STOXX and DAX index solutions.

To succeed in this role, you will need a demonstrated track record of success in selling index based solutions and products to institutional clients, as well as an interest in all aspects of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) topics along with a strong financial background and demonstrated sales experience.

The role requires a high level of technical acumen, attention to detail, the ability to understand front office needs and strong collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve revenue and renewal goals by identifying and closing index sales opportunities with existing clients and prospects  

  • Grow ISS-STOXX market share, recognition and perception within the investment management and asset owner community  

  • Cultivate relationships with Asset Owners and Consultants

  • Continuously assess index based market opportunities, define and update a sales plan for territory and discuss with management  

  • Ensure detailed sales and renewal reporting and forecasting  

  • Work closely with ISS BDR and Marketing managers to define products, services, and marketing plans 

  • Build and maintain relationships amongst existing clients and prospects  

  • Record all client and prospect contacts and all meeting and telephone activity information into firm's CRM system  

  • Share relevant industry and opportunity information across the sales group and with other departments

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 7 - 10 years’ experience working within institutional sales and relationship management specifically with index related products

  • Bachelor or master’s degree with a background in Finance, Economics, or other related discipline is preferred and additional qualifications such as CFA would be advantageous

  • Track record of business development and revenue generation either selling directly or through strategic partners

  • Demonstrated relationship and project management skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines

  • Strong multi-tasking skills, with expert judgment to help set priorities

  • Excellent organizational and verbal skills

  • Absolute personal and business integrity

  • Fluency in English and an additional European language is a plus
