We are seeking a HR Associate to join our growing team in London. You will be part of our global HR team who value collaboration, teamwork and trust and deliver high-quality HR expertise to the business. Based in our London office, you will report to the HR Lead, UK & Nordics and will also be well supported by other EMEA HR colleagues. In an international environment, this diverse role would appeal to a HR generalist who enjoys all aspects of HR, such as business partnering, employee relations, and HR projects, operations and compliance. This role would suit a motivated junior HR professional, looking to further develop their HR career and enjoys partnering with the business within a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be a trusted advisor and provide expert advice and guidance on HR matters, using the appropriate communication lines, databases and systems to address queries and provide solutions to the business and employees.

  • Partner with the EMEA Recruitment team on hiring needs, supporting the offer and onboarding process and managing visa applications when required.

  • Manage ER case work ensuring a best practice approach is followed. You will be supported by the HR Lead with more complex cases.

  • Oversee and ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding of employees.

  • Facilitate the performance management and development of our employees.

  • Communicate HR policies and processes and ensure policies are up to date and compliant with local legislation.

  • In collaboration with the Global HR team, support activities such as the performance review process, promotion process and compensation review.

  • Supporting the HR team with benefits management.

  • Build strong relationships and collaborate with other groups (such as Payroll, Finance, Corporate Services & IT) to support the business and employees appropriately.

  • Identify areas for improvement and recommend appropriate solutions to address the needs of a growing organization.

  • Partner with HR Generalists across EMEA and in the US and APAC on company-wide policies and initiatives.

  • Supporting the team with projects such as M&A change management programmes, well-being, remuneration, culture and engagement, and other HR related work streams.

  • Ensuring compliance with Immigration/UK Sponsorship License responsibilities. Manage right to work checks for UK employees.

  • Ensuring employee data on Workday is kept accurate.

  • In collaboration with the HR team, ensure monthly payroll changes are actioned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A HR professional with hands-on experience covering a wide range of HR duties.

  • Able to demonstrate a good understanding of HR best practice and a proactive approach to professional development, including keeping up to date with Employment Law developments, HR trends and evolutions in the people profession.

  • Relevant experience in a similar role preferably at a growing organisation.

  • Understanding of employment law and ability to handle employee relations cases.

  • Ability to build strong relationships across a global business and be seen as a trusted advisor.

  • Act with integrity, credibility and professionalism at all times.

  • Demonstrable sound judgement and decision-making skills

  • Strong collaboration skills and able to build relationships across all levels of the business in a global operating environment.

  • Able to prioritise and manage many tasks simultaneously.

  • Client focused and actively partner with management and the HR team to achieve business objectives while respecting HR processes and policies.

  • Solutions-oriented mindset, actively seeking and implementing effective solutions to problems.

  • Strong technical skills and proficient in Microsoft Office required and experience of using Workday would be beneficial.

  • A degree in Human Resources, or related field.

  • CIPD Level 3 qualification or working towards would be advantageous.
