Location: Nottingham or Wimbledon (Hybrid)

Domestic & General is a fast-growing business operating in 14 different countries. We impact our customer's lives by protecting the appliances at the heart of every home and reduce waste by extending the life of appliances and devices.

 

As HR Advisor you will be a key point of contact for employees and managers, delivering timely and accurate HR support across a wide range of processes across multiple countries or globally. Operating through the case management system, you will deliver a seamless colleague experience by resolving routine queries, processing transactions efficiently, and resolving complex ambiguous issues.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

The role operates across several areas:

 

Service Delivery & Case Management

  • Serve as the primary contact for employee and manager inquiries across all HR processes and queries.
  • Resolve cases within agreed SLAs, escalating complex or sensitive issues as appropriate.
  • Complete routine tasks within agreed SLAs.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a positive colleague experience in every interaction.

 

HR Operations & Transactions

  • Accurately process HR transactions in Workday and other systems.
  • Support all core HR activities such as payroll inputs, onboarding, lifecycle, offboarding, and benefits.
  • Ensure data accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality in all transactions.
  • Create knowledge & documentation (Process Maps, SOPs)
  • Maintain and update documentation, knowledge articles, SOP and FAQs to enable self‑service.
  • Continuously develop knowledge of HR systems, policies, and processes to build expertise to serve globally.

 

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and other teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement, automation and service optimisation.
  • Champion a customer‑first mindset and proactively resolve issues to enhance the colleague experience.

 

Skills and experience required:

 

We would love to hear from you if you can demonstrate the following:

  • Experience of working within a fast-paced HR Shared Service environment, ideally within multiple countries.
  • Exposure to delivering a wide range of HR services such as payroll input, onboarding, lifecycle, offboarding, benefits, and documentation management.
  • A track record of delivering to SLAs in a time critical environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
  • Examples of identifying process improvements and efficiencies enabled by technology and executing.
  • Knowledge of an enterprise level HR Management System (Workday would be fantastic but is not essential).
