An exciting opportunity has arisen for an HR People Advisor to join our Bristol-based team. As the HR People Advisor, you will be very hands-on, engaging and interacting across several key operational areas within our state-of-the-art manufacturing and engineering facilities working with stakeholders at all levels within our business.
As the People Advisor you will support human resources, bringing challenge and perspective to the business agenda, assisting with triaging employee issues with our centralized services and supporting leadership with day-to-day operational HR activities.

What you will be doing:
- Supporting the business teams on site in driving key HR processes including Employee Relations, Recruitment, Engagement and Culture and bringing HR insights to the leaders.
- Coaching the management teams in handling sensitive or complex HR issues, policy execution, and in their own personal development including meeting Rolls-Royce leadership expectations
- Supporting leadership in both Defence Bristol and various Rolls-Royce Power Systems sites across the UK with day-to-day operational HR activity including liaising with our centralized case management, recruitment, payroll, reward, and employee relations team
- Utilising data to identify operational trends and support decision making.
- Assisting with documentation of HR policies and training at a local level
Position qualifications:
- Experienced in a HR Generalist or equivalent role in an Operational Manufacturing or Engineering Environment
- Exposure to a Unionised Environment working with shift based or operational workforces
- Capable Stakeholder management skills with the ability to challenge constructively
- Good working knowledge of HR processes and the relevant IT systems to support those processes
