HR Advisor

Location: Regent Holborn HQ with flexibility to travel to our other London campuses (Hybrid) - working on Campus three days per week.
Salary range: 40k - 45k per annum subject to skills and experience
Department: Human Resources
Reports to: Managing Director
Organisation: Regent European University
Working hours 40 hours per week over 5 days per week.

Join Our Growing HR Team

Regent European University is looking for an experienced and proactive HR Advisor to join our growing Human Resources team. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident HR professional who enjoys working across the full employee lifecycle and partnering with managers to deliver practical, people-focused solutions.

Supporting a diverse and international workforce, you'll play a key role in delivering a high-quality HR service while helping to shape an engaging, compliant and positive employee experience.

What you'll be doing

As our HR Advisor, you will:

  • Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers across a range of employee relations matters.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning activities.
  • Manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance issues.
  • Coach managers on performance management and employee development.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and support payroll and reporting processes.
  • Assist with organisational change, policy development and HR projects.
  • Promote employee wellbeing, engagement and an inclusive workplace culture.
  • Ensure HR practices remain compliant with UK employment legislation, with awareness of European employment practices.
About You

You'll be an organised and approachable HR professional who enjoys building strong relationships and finding practical solutions.

You'll ideally have:

  • Experience in a generalist HR Advisor or HR Officer role.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
  • Experience managing employee relations cases from start to finish.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Experience using HR systems and Microsoft Office.
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience).

It would be advantageous if you also have:

  • Experience working across multiple sites or within an international organisation.
  • Knowledge of TUPE and organisational change.
  • Experience using HR data and analytics to inform decision-making.
  • CIPD Level 7 qualification.
