The HR Business Advisor serves as a trusted partner within the UK & Ireland Business Advisory Centre, providing expert HR guidance to an assigned client group. The role focuses on delivering effective solutions for people matters, supporting organisational change, and ensuring the consistent application of global HR processes such as compensation and talent management. Collaboration with HR colleagues and stakeholders is essential to maintain high service standards and drive continuous improvement.

Your key responsibilities

  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on a variety of general HR matters such as employee relations, effective leadership, performance optimisation, and ensure compliance with UK employment law and company policies.

  • Support HR initiatives, including organisational transformation, restructuring, and optimisation.

  • Support performance management, including annual reviews and talent development.

  • Manage employee relations cases, including investigations, disciplinaries, appeals and conflict resolution.

  • Support business stakeholders through compensation processes, ensuring fairness and compliance.

Your skills and experience

  • Strong HR advisory experience, ideally within complex, matrix organizations.

  • Proven ability to manage change, performance management, employee relations, and restructuring and to navigate complex employment matters.

  • Good knowledge of UK Employment legislation in relation to General HR Advisory.

  • Effective relationship-building skills and collaboration across business and HR teams.

  • Results-oriented, with the ability to prioritise and manage high volumes in a fast-paced environment whilst maintain procedures and compliance.

  • Experience mentoring and developing junior HR professionals.

  • Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs
