Job Description
Experian are looking for Head of Performance and Reporting to join our Global Infrastructure team. This is an important managerial position in which you will help set up new global Business Technology Operations & have line management responsibilities for 3 people.
You will be a crucial member of the management team with a focus on reporting on goals, OKRs & performance.
This role is based in London with a Hybrid working pattern.
Responsibilities:
Performance Strategy Development:
- Establish performance measurements for technology systems
- Leading the development and continue maturing a comprehensive Measurements (OKR) framework tailored to the technology organisations needs
- Continue developing guidelines, templates and tools to support the OKR process
- Ensure understanding of the OKRs across different levels of the organisation, from company-wide goals to team-specific important results
- Integrate OKRs with existing strategic planning and performance management processes
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate employees and leadership on the OKR methodology/process
- Provide ongoing support and coaching to teams in setting and refining their OKRs
Management Information (MI) and Reporting:
Exec Reporting:
- Continue to lead a comprehensive executive reporting strategy for the technology division
- Build a team that creates and maintain high-quality reports and dashboards for technology executives, including CTO/CIO/COO/CFO and senior leadership
- Ensure reports are aligned with the strategic goals and Measurements of the technology division
Performance Management:
- Further develop systems for regular tracking and reporting of Performance Management progress (i.e. OKR, Operational Metrics and Product Development Productivity)
- Lead development of dashboards and reports to provide visibility into areas of Performance Management achievements / metrics needing attention
- Monitor Measurements and Operational Metrics related to technology projects, operations and programs
- Facilitate regular Performance Management meetings to assess progress and adjust goals and Measurements
- Oversee the collection, integration and management of data from different sources to ensure accurate and meaningful reporting
- Ensure that reports communicate the status, impact, and strategic agreement of technology programmes
Partner Collaboration:
- Work with team including product development, group technology and partners to align technology performance goals with our goals
- Collaborate with technology leaders, project managers and departments to gather relevant data and insights
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay up to date with the latest performance management tools, industry best practices and reporting visualisation
- Improve processes to allow enhancement of performance and reliability of technology systems
- Identify and share best practices and lessons learned to improve the Performance Management processes
Qualifications
Experience Required:
- Experience in programme management, strategy, or organisation development
- Background working in technology services, with understanding of technology operations and reporting
- Experience implementing and managing OKRs or similar goal-setting frameworks and executive reporting / data visualization
- Experience with performance management, strategic planning, and organizational agreement
- Desired certification in OKR, PMP, or other relevant methodologies
- Desired experience with Product Development frameworks (e.g. DORA) and tooling (e.g. BlueOptima)
- Experience in change management and organisation development
- Work within complex projects in a business-aligned environment
- Proficiency with reporting and data visualisation (e.g. Power BI)
