About the team

Airwallex is hiring a GTM Partnerships Manager to join the Canada team. This is a builder role for someone who can create partnerships from scratch, work independently, and turn signed deals into real commercial outcomes.

We’re looking for someone with strong sales instincts, a builder mindset, and the ability to move fast. You’ll help shape our partnerships motion in Canada by identifying the right partners, building the strategy, and driving revenue.

What you’ll do

This is a sales role within partnerships. You’ll own the partner lifecycle end-to-end, from sourcing and pitching to activation, pipeline creation, and revenue generation.

You’ll work closely with sales, marketing, strategy, and cross-functional teams to make partnerships a real growth channel for Airwallex in Canada.

This role is hybrid, based in Toronto.

Responsibilities:
  • Own partner relationships end-to-end, from sourcing through activation and ongoing management

  • Drive partner-sourced pipeline and revenue

  • Build and execute joint go-to-market plans with partners across campaigns, events, referrals, and co-selling motions

  • Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and strategy to deliver a strong partner and customer experience

  • Track performance closely and focus on conversion, not just signed agreements

Who you are

We're looking for people who meet the minimum requirements for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.

Minimum qualifications:
  • 2 years of experience in partnerships, business development, sales, or a related go-to-market roles

  • Background in sales

  • Experience building partnerships or business development efforts in an adjacent space

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate Airwallex’s value clearly

  • Ability to operate independently and take ownership in a fast-moving environment

  • Collaborative working style and ability to work well across teams

  • Track record of driving commercial outcomes, hitting quotas, not just managing relationships

  • High urgency, strong ownership, and a bias for action

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in fintech, ecommerce, tech, or a startup environment

  • Exposure to adjacent ecosystems relevant to Airwallex

  • Experience launching or scaling partnerships in a new market

  • Existing network in Canada across ecommerce, tech, or other relevant commercial ecosystems

  • Bilingual ( French speaking is an asset)
