Job Description

Join Experian's Group Revenue Recognition (GRR) team and play a key role in transforming how one of the world's leading data and technology companies governs revenue accounting.

This is more than a technical accounting role. You'll combine your IFRS expertise with data analytics, digital innovation and process improvement to help build the future operating model for revenue recognition across our global business.

Working with senior finance leaders across multiple countries, you'll influence complex accounting decisions, strengthen global controls, drive standardisation and help embed AI-enabled approaches to revenue governance.

What you'll be doing

  • Provide technical accounting advice on complex revenue recognition matters and significant commercial contracts.
  • Drive consistent application of IFRS 15 and global revenue accounting policies across the Group.
  • Improve global revenue governance through standardised processes, stronger controls and continuous improvement.
  • Apply data analytics and emerging AI technologies to identify risks, detect anomalies and improve compliance monitoring.
  • Support Finance Transformation and Prospect-to-Cash initiatives by embedding accounting requirements into future processes and systems.
  • Build trusted relationships across Global Finance, Regional Finance and Global Finance Services while providing thought leadership on revenue accounting best practice.
  • Help develop guidance, training and knowledge resources that build capability across our global finance community.

Qualifications

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or equivalent) with strong post-qualification experience.
  • Excellent technical accounting knowledge, particularly IFRS 15 (or ASC 606).
  • Experience operating within a multinational or listed organisation.
  • Experience using data to improve decision-making and governance.
  • Experience or interest in finance automation, AI and digital transformation.
  • Experience working to influence a variety of partners/colleagues across a global matrix organisation.
  • A continuous improvement mindset with a passion for simplifying processes and improving controls.
