The General Ledger Accountant performs monthly and yearly closing activities, including general ledger and tax accounting, while supervising interfaces and coordinating closing tasks.

We are now looking for a General Ledger Accountant to perform monthly/quarterly/yearly closing activities including general ledger, fixed asset and statutory and taxes accounting in accordance with the process documentation and standard Ericsson Business Process (EBP) Activity Description. Contribute to Period End Closing (PEC) technical process (F&A PEC Expert User assignment). The result is a correct general ledger including fixed assets in each company's books, as well as correctly reported and paid taxes.
The GAC team in Bucharest has over 40 colleagues, all with team-spirit, collaborating in an environment that has its accent on culture of speak-up, collaboration and effective execution, expected to contribute to improvements in PEC process.

What you will do?
• You will supervise pre system interfaces• Analyze and/or calculate valuation• Process journal vouchers• Perform account reconciliations• Coordinate/perform closing activities• Complete the Ericsson Consolidations System BPC• Perform assigned tasks as a F&A PEC Specialist User.
You will bring:
• 3+ years of related professional experience in accounting or finance• Accounting & Reporting Skills• Financial Acumen Skills• Financial Analysis Skills • Advanced ERP system knowledge (ex: SAP, BPC, etc.) • Excel proficiency (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table) • A good level of English in both verbal and written • Education: Academic degree in finance, accounting or similar field• Comfortable with change• Process improvement mindset, tech & AI oriented• Strong communication skill- working well within GAC and cross-functional• Time management skill to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
