About The Role:
The Finance Systems Manager supports, delivers, and manages the Group’s core finance systems, reporting to the Finance Systems Director. This hands-on role involves configuring, maintaining, and enhancing systems like Yardi Voyager, BlackLine, BOARD, SAP Concur, Procore, and SQL Server. They lead the Finance Systems Support Desk, handling issue resolution, incident management, and user queries. The role also focuses on data analytics, ensuring high data quality and compliance, and collaborating with various teams. Additionally, they manage vendor relationships and drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and enhance user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand business needs, conduct feasibility studies, identify system enhancements, and ensure financial controls.
- Lead the Finance Systems Support Desk, resolve issues, address user queries, and provide system guidance.
- Develop and deliver training sessions, create documentation for effective system use.
- Work with Finance, IT, Procurement, Delivery, and Commercial teams to deliver tailored solutions.
- Provide regular updates on system initiatives, facilitate communication, and drive process improvements.
- Conduct regular reviews of finance systems (Yardi, BlackLine, BOARD FP&A, SAP Concur, Power BI) to ensure alignment and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements:
- Proven track record in the real estate and data centre sectors is highly desirable, focusing on lease management, financial transactions, lead-to-cash processes, budgeting, forecasting, and operational workflows.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, particularly Yardi Voyager v7s, with deep knowledge of finance modules, lease management, and system configuration to support accounting and property operations.
- Familiar with various real estate finance solutions beyond Yardi, such as SAP Concur and BlackLine, offering a comprehensive understanding of systems integration and end-to-end process optimisation.
- Skilled in using tools like BOARD Financial Analysis & Analytics (BOARD FA&A) for budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning, and reporting.
- Strong working knowledge of SQL and database structures, capable of writing and troubleshooting queries to support reporting, data integrity checks, and system enhancements.
- Familiar with Power BI and other reporting platforms to support business intelligence initiatives and provide real-time insights for finance stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of revenue management and financial drivers in the real estate or data centre sector, with the ability to translate operational data into meaningful financial insights.
- Demonstrated ability to manage small to mid-size projects, including system upgrades, process improvements, and implementations, ensuring timely delivery while coordinating across multiple business and technical teams.
