Kaluza is the Energy Intelligence Platform, turning energy complexity into seamless coordination. We help energy companies overcome today’s challenges while accelerating the shift to a clean, electrified future.

Our platform orchestrates millions of real-time decisions across homes, devices, markets and grids. By combining predictive algorithms with human-centred design, Kaluza makes clean energy dependable, affordable and adaptive to everyday life.

With teams across Europe, North America, Asia and Australia, and a joint venture with Mitsubishi Corporation in Japan, we power leading companies including OVO, AGL and ENGIE, as well as innovators like Volvo and Volkswagen.

At Kaluza we embrace a flexible, hybrid work model that balances autonomy with the power of in-person connection. Many of our teams find value in coming together regularly to collaborate, strengthen relationships, and accelerate progress. We’re focused on shaping thoughtful, team-driven approaches that support both business impact and individual well-being.

Kaluza, the Energy Intelligence Platform, is building a world-class marketing function to drive revenue and establish category leadership. We're looking for a highly strategic Events Marketing Manager to architect an events programme that drives commercial growth, builds brand equity, and positions Kaluza as the defining voice in Energy Intelligence.

This is a high-ownership role at the intersection of Sales and Marketing. You'll work hand-in-glove with our Sales and Product teams to design experiences that open doors, accelerate deals, and put Kaluza in front of the right people at the right moments.

You've thrived in a fast-scaling B2B startup. You move fast, think commercially, and know how to build a category-defining programme from the ground up.

What will I be doing?

Owned events programme (primary focus)

This is your core priority. You'll build and run a best-in-class owned events programme that generates pipeline, deepens relationships with prospects, partners, and investors - and builds the community that defines the Energy Intelligence category.

  • Design and execute high-impact breakfast briefings, executive roundtables, and intimate dinners targeted at senior energy and utility leaders, tech partners, and industry influencers
  • Build a consistent community around Kaluza's Energy Intelligence proposition
  • Work closely with Sales to ensure every event drives pipeline, accelerates deals, and supports origination
  • Own the strategy and delivery of Kaluza's flagship annual summit for 300+ global energy leaders

Every event puts the right people in the room, moves commercial conversations forward, and reinforces Kaluza's position as the category leader.

Ecosystem and partner events

  • Identify and activate co-hosted opportunities with strategic partners to extend reach and credibility
  • Work with Product and Sales to bring Kaluza's Energy Intelligence Platform to life through compelling live and digital experiences
  • Profile our speakers as authoritative voices in the energy transition, in lockstep with Comms

Third-party events and brand activation

  • Maintain a selective, ROI-focused calendar of industry events aligned to target markets
  • Negotiate sponsorships and deliver bold brand activations that make Kaluza unmissable
  • Define and track KPIs so every activation serves both brand authority and measurable lead generation

About You

Ideally you’ll have/be

  • Proven B2B events marketing experience at a high-growth startup or scale-up - you've built programmes with limited resources and high expectations
  • Deep commercial instinct: you understand how events drive pipeline and design with that in mind
  • Tight alignment with Sales - you can expertly translate commercial priorities into event strategy
  • Experience running owned events end-to-end: executive dinners, roundtables, summits
  • A bold creative streak - you build experiences that are human, authentic, and memorable. In an era of AI and hyper-automation, Kaluza's events must feel genuinely different: high-tech and high-soul, building real trust through real connection
  • Calm, decisive, and adaptable when plans change

What will set you apart

  • Background in AI-native tech, data, or infrastructure businesses
  • Experience positioning a company as a category leader through events
  • Familiarity with the energy transition - retail, flexibility, electrification
