The role also involves mentoring colleagues, promoting engineering best practices, and owning services from architecture through continuous improvement.

Owns the People service desk, employee query resolution, and onboarding experience from offer acceptance through day one. Supports payroll inputs, benefits administration, compliance, HRIS updates, and process improvements. The role also improves Jira workflows, service automation, People Bot knowledge, and self-service capabilities while contributing to cross-functional People projects.

Designs and leads data migration architectures for client SaaS deployments, including source-system analysis, data mapping, ETL, validation, reconciliation, testing, cutover, and production readiness. Partners with clients, engineering, product, and program teams to resolve complex migration issues, improve scalability, define technical standards, support presales, and develop reusable migration playbooks.

Build reusable mock backends, APIs, proof-of-concept applications, and demo infrastructure using Node.js, TypeScript, AWS, Terraform, and AI-assisted workflows. Design REST and GraphQL APIs, manage persistence and deployments, collaborate with frontend, Product, and Design teams, support client demonstrations, and mentor the Commercial team on GenAI and engineering standards.

Lead the technical strategy, architecture, and global standards for Kaluza’s CI/CD, release engineering, developer platforms, and infrastructure tooling. Drive DevOps, SRE, DORA metrics, automated testing, deployment safety, and engineering productivity. Mentor engineers, establish scalable cloud-native release practices, and build proofs of concept using AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, and GitHub Actions. The role also promotes AI-assisted developer tooling and supports secure, regulated, high-throughput SaaS environments.

Leads strategic People Partnering across the European technology business, advising executive leaders on workforce planning, organizational change, culture, inclusion, employee relations, compliance, and people analytics. Manages People Partners across the UK and France, supports AI-driven transformation, oversees complex European ER matters, and provides strategic support to the VP People.

Manage end-to-end monthly payroll using Workday, including UK PAYE, National Insurance, HMRC reporting, pensions, benefits, statutory deductions, payroll variations, reconciliations, and year-end processes. Liaise with HMRC, Finance, HR, tax advisers, and international payroll providers across multiple jurisdictions. Produce reports, resolve payroll queries, maintain compliance, and improve payroll processes. The role requires strong UK payroll knowledge, global payroll experience, and Workday proficiency.

Own and improve business operations technology, including Jira architecture, data pipelines, dashboards, integrations, and automated workflows. Build reliable operational tooling, connect internal and enterprise platforms such as Workday, analyze data, identify process improvements, and evaluate AI-enabled solutions. The role requires independent problem-solving, clear communication, and proactive management of security, compliance, reliability, and technical trade-offs.

Own Kaluza’s global B2B communications strategy across PR, content, and executive thought leadership. Lead PR agencies and media campaigns, translate complex energy and software concepts into compelling narratives, and manage whitepapers, blogs, press statements, video, and podcasts. Partner with senior leaders, measure campaign performance through dashboards, and guide junior content creators. The role also supports international communications, crisis management, and executive speechwriting.

Design and operate Kaluza’s internal developer platform, improving developer experience through automation, self-service tooling, Infrastructure as Code, and GitOps. Build and maintain scalable Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure, establish monitoring and observability, embed security controls, optimize reliability, participate in on-call support, and provide technical leadership and mentoring.

Build and evolve Kaluza’s internal developer platform, enabling reliable software delivery and reducing infrastructure toil. Responsibilities include developing automation and tooling, managing cloud infrastructure with Terraform, Helm, and Crossplane, implementing GitOps practices, supporting Kubernetes, establishing monitoring and observability, embedding security and reliability standards, participating in on-call support, and coordinating with stakeholders and service providers.

Design and operate a scalable internal developer platform supporting production software teams. Responsibilities include infrastructure automation with Terraform, Helm, and Crossplane; GitOps implementation; Kubernetes cluster management; monitoring, logging, and tracing; security and reliability improvements; cloud operations; on-call support; technical leadership; and mentoring engineers.

Own early-stage business development by executing high-volume multichannel outreach, generating and qualifying meetings, nurturing leads, and supporting pipeline growth. Lead initial prospect and partner conversations, deliver software demonstrations, generate demand through AWS and Google Cloud marketplaces, and support events, content campaigns, and other growth initiatives. The role requires energy-sector knowledge, cloud ecosystem awareness, strong communication skills, and independent commercial execution.

Lead technical presales engagements: run discovery workshops, design to‑be architectures and integration patterns, produce technical proposals and POCs, advise product teams, and hand off solutions to implementation while supporting commercial value conversations.

Lead technical discovery and design of tailored solutions for large energy retailers, drive technical input for RFPs and proposals, negotiate scope, influence product roadmap with market signals, support demo engineering, and build the pre-sales playbook and team across global deals.
