Responsibilities include discovery workshops, architecture and integration design, technical presentations, tender responses, proof-of-concept planning, work-package estimation, and handoffs to implementation teams. The role also advocates for customer needs with product and engineering teams, supports value quantification, and travels to client sites across the UK and Europe as required.

Lead the technical direction and architecture of a major global product area comprising multiple modules. Design scalable distributed cloud systems, shape technical vision and roadmaps, guide engineering teams, make high-stakes architectural decisions, and partner with technical and executive stakeholders. The role is primarily hands-off, with occasional code-level design and proof-of-concept work. Responsibilities also include mentoring engineers, driving modern engineering practices, and enabling AI-powered solutions.
