The Opportunity

The role of Employee Relations Manager is new to our UK team.,You will have the exciting opportunity to manage a team of employee relations professionals as we support our ever evolving and growing business, providing direction on sophisticated employment matters, giving guidance and input on policies and practices, partnering with key collaborators throughout the business and driving professional development within your team. You will work closely with all levels of management, while being a key partner to HRBusiness Partners, Adobe Employment Counsel, Internal Stakeholders and Centers of Excellence (COEs), with the goal of driving high employee engagement while increasing our ability to scale for growth.

What you’ll do

  • Lead and develop a pan-EMEA team of employee relations professionals with a primary focus on the UK team.
  • Manage resource in conjunction with the ER Director and ER Manager to drive effective case management progress and outcomes.
  • Continually evaluate and improve processes to ensure we are building a consistent experience for all employees that engage with our team
  • Provide ongoing and focused development, feedback and coaching for team
  • Provide support for your team as needed on complex employee relations matters and also run complex and/or sensitive cases as required.
  • Offer strategic employee relations support and thought partnership to key collaborators throughout the organization
  • Manage and support team members operating in our Works Council countries in conjunction with the relevant Labor Relations team members.
  • Lead pan-EMEA projects as required.

What you need to succeed

  • Proven experience working in an Employee Relations role.
  • High level of expertise UK employee relations with a knowledge of UK employment law.
  • Knowledge of Irish and Germany employee relations or employment law useful but not essential.
  • Experience providing leadership to a team, formally or informally and able to manage employees based in other offices and countries.
  • Demonstrate effective influencing skills to provide resolution to sophisticated and highly critical employee relations matters
  • Proven track record of demonstrating good judgment and experience assessing risk
  • Ability to use data to inform decisions and drive action
  • Solid verbal and presentation skills
  • Ability to anticipate potential issues and diagnose root cause through listening and enquiry
  • Ability to work enthusiastically across diverse organizations
  • Demonstrate dedication to helping employees and managers be successful and achieving those results in alignment with values
  • Be an effective collaborator.

You will be based in either our Reading or London office and some travel may be required. We work in a hybrid environment with on site presence three days per week.
