Job Description:

   

In a Sales role at HPE, you’ll play a part in building the future – one big idea at a time.  You’ll be selling HPE products, services, software, or solutions to customers, both directly and indirectly. In a typical day in Enterprise, Digital Sales Account Manager...

  • Sell complex solutions, products and services for a set of assigned accounts. Provide input in developing sales strategy and quota forecasts for assigned accounts. You will partner with field sales or sell independently.

  • Create account plans and provide recommendations for assigned complex accounts

  • Proactively generate, qualify and review new leads to drive higher sales opportunities and closure; may work with partners/ field sales to ensure a smooth sales transaction.

  • Understand clients requirements and leverage good knowledge of company's portfolio of products and services to competitively position company to meet the needs to drive new acquisitions and/or promote retention

  • Lead targeted sales pipeline building, forecasts and plans data driven sales activity

Knowledge and Skills...

  • Sales orientation and understanding of sales process

  • Experienced in account management, acquisition, retention and development

  • Confidence in prospecting, hunting and competing for new business 'hunter approach'

  • Customer facing experience would be advantageous, you will at times be expected to be out in front of your customers

  • Knowledge & understanding of company's portfolios of products and services

  • Knowledge & understanding of IT and/or industry solutions, products and services to solve business challenges

  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills

  • Experienced using Customer Relationship Management system or Salesforce system which allows businesses to manage business relationships and the data and information associated with them.
