Hello. We’re Teya.

Teya was founded on a simple belief: local businesses deserve better.

They are the cafés, restaurants, salons, shops and entrepreneurs that bring character to our high streets, create jobs and keep communities moving. Yet for too long, financial services has made life harder for them - with clunky tools, poor support and complexity that gets in the way of running a business.

Teya exists to change that.

We’re building a financial platform for local businesses across Europe - one built around simple tools, thoughtful design and real human support. Our Members rely on us to help them run their business with confidence, and that responsibility shapes the way we work.

We move fast. We care about quality. We stay close to the detail. And we believe great performance and genuine hospitality should go hand in hand.

If you want to build meaningful products, solve real problems and make a genuine difference for local businesses, we’d love to hear from you

Become a part of our story.

We're looking for exceptional talent to join our mission. We offer a chance to create impact in a high energy and connected culture, while benefiting from continuous learning opportunities, a supportive community which is proud to serve our mission, and comprehensive benefits.

Heartwarming Hospitality

Every customer who reaches us is a small business owner trying to keep their doors open, and we treat every interaction like welcoming a guest, not processing a ticket. Heartwarming hospitality means genuine warmth, patience, and care in how we show up, paired with the commercial and technical know-how to actually solve the problem. It's the difference between a customer being handled and a customer being looked after.
What will you be doing?

You'll be joining our Customer Relations team; we support members across the UK through calls, email, and web chat, helping them get the most out of Teya and resolving issues quickly, warmly, and accurately.

Day-to-day you will be:

• Handling inbound calls, emails, and web chats from Teya members, making every interaction feel personal and unhurried, even when volume is high

• Diagnosing the real issue behind a query; whether it's a product question, a billing concern, or a complaint, and resolving it with warmth and efficiency

• Taking ownership of complaints, deescalating calmly, and escalating complex or sensitive cases appropriately.

• Keeping accurate, consistent records of every interaction in our CRM

• Spotting recurring themes or friction points and feeding them back to your Team Leader and the wider business

• Working closely with Product, Support, and Sales colleagues to help fix the root causes behind

avoidable customer contact

What are we looking for?

• Some experience in a customer facing role; customer service, hospitality, retail, or similar, where you've had to think on your feet and make people feel looked after

• A naturally warm, empathetic communicator who listens well and puts people at ease

• Calm and constructive under pressure, even in a difficult or emotional call

• Strong problem-solving skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Comfortable managing a high volume of contacts across multiple channels

• A genuine team player who's motivated to make every interaction count

• Fluent English, spoken and written
What can we offer you?

  • Physical and mental health support through our partnership with GymPass giving free access to over 1,500 gyms in the UK, 1-1 therapy, meditation sessions, digital fitness and nutrition apps.

  • Cycle-to-Work Scheme.

  • Health and Life Insurance.

  • Pension Scheme.

  • 25 days of Annual Leave (+ Bank Holidays).

  • Possibility to travel to different offices around Europe.

  • Office snacks every day.

  • Friendly, comfortable office environment in Central London.

Teya is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.

We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, religion, or background can thrive and do their best work. We believe that a diverse team leads to better ideas, stronger outcomes, and a more supportive workplace for all.

If you require any reasonable adjustments at any stage of the recruitment process whether for interviews, assessments, or other parts of the application—we encourage you to let us know. We are committed to ensuring that every candidate has a fair and accessible experience with us.

Boasting one of the most recognized fintech ecosystems in Europe, attracting billions in investments each year, London's success has made it a go-to destination for startups looking to make their mark. Top U.K. companies like Hoptin, Moneybox and Marshmallow have already made the city their base — yet fintech is just the beginning. From healthtech to renewable energy to cybersecurity and beyond, the city's startups are breaking new ground across a range of industries.
