Role

Collaborate as a member of a small integrated team in providing internal and external communication support to Global Advisory, assisting in the execution of campaigns that align with business plans.

GA Media Relations Support

  • Respond to all incoming requests from journalists concerning Redburn Atlantic research notes.
  • Handle all incoming requests from Debtwire and Mergermarket
  • Monitor emails from journalists to the Rothschild & Co and GA media queries mailboxes on a bi-hourly basis
  • Manage the GA media sector meeting programme
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with journalists
  • Provide support for proactive deal announcements
  • Ensure that the GA boilerplate for press releases is current
  • Distribute GA press releases via Vuelio and ensure that media lists are updated
  • Oversee the logistics for the GA media training for newly promoted Directors and Managing Directors

Regional Office Coordinator (India & Australia)

  • Manage and maintain communication with the local office
  • Update the GA Communications team on key local developments
  • Provide ad hoc support to the local office on campaigns when required

Internal Communications (content)

  • Manage content for the GA Intranet
  • Coordinate with R&Connect regarding content
  • Draft/post articles for GAI
  • Tracking, monitoring and providing analytics
  • Ensure that the GA intranet is designed to keep users engaged, in addition to providing information in an intuitive and user-centric way

Conferences and Sponsorships

  • Schedule calls with organisers
  • Maintain the conference calendar
  • Provide necessary assets or information to organisers
  • Draft/post GAI articles post conference

Skills and experience required

  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks running in parallel with tight deadlines
  • Strong writing, editing and communication skills
  • Highly organised, proactive individual with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Time management skills, and the ability to work independently and be self-motivated
  • Diplomatic, calm under pressure, with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • In-depth knowledge of internal and external communication channels
  • 3+ years of experience in communications within Financial Services, ideally in investment banking
  • Highly desirable – experience using media software such as Vuelio and Factiva.
