Job Description:

The Communications Department is responsible for the positioning of the Tradeweb brand, as well as the development and execution of strategic programs that align with Tradeweb’s goals, ensuring consistent messaging across channels and stakeholders. The team drives successful public relations and strategic communications, thought leadership, social media, and the intranet.

This communications role helps protect and advance Tradeweb’s reputation as part of a global strategic communications program. The role is responsible for executing day-to-day press activities, creating and implementing media programs, and promoting external visibility with key audiences in Europe and Asia. In close partnership with the Communications Manager for Europe & Asia and the Global Communications team, the individual will develop, assist and execute on media and analyst relations, core message development, content creation, executive briefings, and research.

The role is well suited to an early-career professional in the financial services space with strong growth ambitions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support proactive media campaigns targeted to key financial and business press in Europe & Asia, working both independently and/or in conjunction with PR Agencies. This includes drafting and distributing news releases, securing interviews with relevant media to include Tradeweb comment in articles, drafting blogs, drafting and posting social media content, and overseeing translation of communications materials
  • Responsible for handling inbound journalist enquiries in an accurate and responsive manner to support market commentary and data attribution program
  • Use Tradeweb tools to produce and approve data for both external and internal purposes
  • Competitive media analysis, monitoring and reporting, ensuring our press coverage is reflective of industry trends
  • Create interactive and compelling briefs for internal and external senior executive presentations or industry panel participation
  • Content creation and distribution for internal communications working hand in hand with our employee engagement team creating leadership articles, business updates, and visual content keeping employees up to date on business news
  • Collation of media articles and blogs for internal distribution
  • Responsible for Europe/Asia-focused industry award submissions
  • Identify opportunities to enhance output using new technologies, including AI-based solutions 

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in corporate communications
  • Knowledge of or experience in financial markets (ideally in fixed income)
  • Strong writing and content development skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects at once
  • Digital / social media experience in an enterprise corporate setting
  • Positive attitude – we are a small, experienced and hard-working team – everybody pitches in to do whatever needs to be done
  • Experience working with PR/communications agencies (either in-house or agency side)
  • Proficient in AI/ML concepts; eager to explore new technologies and methodologies.
  • Foreign language skills a bonus, particularly in French, German, Italian, Mandarin and/or Japanese
