🙌 The Role

Commercial Analyst at Oodle Car Finance. 

🟢Location and working style

Based in either Shoreditch, London (a 3-minute walk from Old Street station) or in Milton Park, Didcot. While we operate under a hybrid working model, initial onboarding requires 3-4 office days weekly. This ensures a smooth learning curve and fosters team integration.  . 

Overview: 

We're looking for a Commercial Analyst to join our team to report into our Director of Commercial Strategy, Marketing and Partnerships. This role will give you an opportunity to dive into a world of strategic analysis, proposition development and data, all while reporting into the Commercial function - sounds exciting right?!  

You’ll work alongside some of amazing talent in the industry with a primary focus on developing the Oodle proposition to support our growth plans. Your role will be to understand commercial objectives, identify market opportunities, and translate these into initiatives that deliver business impact. 

Your impact:

• Conduct analysis and prepare materials for presentations to both internal and external stakeholders including the EXCO
• Identify, evaluate and develop commercial growth opportunities  
• Engage with key internal and external stakeholders to develop business cases and project plans in support of growth opportunities
• Project manage extensions to the Oodle proposition. Work closely with Product, Marketing and Commercial teams to ensure strong stakeholder communication and maximise the benefit of new initiatives
• Develop, co-ordinate and prepare materials tracking Oodle’s commercial delivery and the performance of growth initiatives 
• Foster strong partnerships across Oodle, ensuring that key insights, opportunities, and data are effectively communicated to a range of teams
• Be the ‘right hand’ to the Director of Commercial Strategy, Marketing and Partnerships working on high impact business deliverables 

Who you are:  

• Strong commercial acumen. Experience within the consulting and/or automotive industries, or degrees in areas such as business and economics. Other relevant qualifications or experience will also be considered.
• A passion for identifying business trends and growth opportunities, and a genuine interest in the automotive and finance sectors
• A proactive problem solver with very high attention to detail, comfortable working both independently and collaboratively, with the ability to tackle challenges directly linked to the business’s performance
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as the role involves interaction with a broad range of senior stakeholders
• Highly numerate and analytical thinker with a natural aptitude for identifying patterns and deriving meaningful insights, with the ability to work with both quantitative and qualitative data sources
• Experience working alongside Commercial and Sales teams preferred
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
