In this role, you’ll use data and insight to spot where our products could deliver even more value for our customers. You’ll turn your analysis into smart, practical recommendations that shape how we design, price and communicate our products.

Working closely with teams across the business, you’ll help make sure every customer gets the right support and experiences great outcomes at every step of their journey.

What you will be doing

  • Strategic recommendations to isolate customer segments who may be receiving less value from the product and design and deliver product features or customer journeys to deliver better outcomes.

  • Ensure that NewDay’s Pricing and Value strategy remains competitive across all products and all customer segments – both compared to other products in the market and our own high expectations.

  • Recommend refinements to customer journeys to ensure that product features are both clearly understood, easy to find and deliver the right support for customers.

  • Undertake necessary Governance – undertaking feature reviews and presenting to findings and recommendations into relevant committees.

  • Maintain relevant reporting to ensure we continue to identify key trends and to ensure our products continue to run effectively.

Your Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, so you're able to take on and solve complex problems.

  • An ability to learn quickly with a flair for numbers, or financial industry expertise.

  • A growth mindset and a desire to continuously develop and learn - you'll be pushed to explore and try new things, which may be outside your comfort zone.

  • Proficiency in one or more of: SQL, Python and PowerBI.

Desirable Skills and Skills we would love you to learn or know

  • Experience in forming and presenting proposals, analysis or solutions, ideally to a wide range of stakeholders, including those more senior.

  • Financial Services experience - you'll know or learn the impact and trade-offs of strategic changes to your area to build balances proposals.

  • Strong collaboration skills to build rapport with internal teams and our partners.

  • A high level of organisation ability to help lead and deliver changes which may involve multiple teams.
