Job title: Commercial Analyst

Location: North West London, NW2 7HF

Salary: Competitive

Hours: Core working hours are 9:30am to 5:00pm, 40 hours per week, worked over five days, Monday to Friday.

Hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 days working from home.

As part of our commitment to innovation and development, we are seeking for a commercially minded and analytically driven Commercial Analyst to join our team and play a key role in supporting business growth and performance. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys turning data into meaningful insights, identifying commercial opportunities, and partnering with stakeholders to support informed decision-making. You’ll bring strong analytical skills, commercial curiosity, and a proactive approach to help shape strategies, improve performance, and deliver measurable business impact.

Responsibilities will include…

  • Analyse export orders to provide accurate monthly outturn forecasts and maintain visibility of the rolling four-month order book, identifying potential supply-chain risks and delays and escalating these as appropriate.
  • Analyse distributor sales-in and sales-out data to assess performance, identify trends and proactively highlight stockholding issues or opportunities.
  • Work closely with the International Marketing Director (IMD) to develop and implement processes and procedures for measuring and evaluating campaign performance.
  • Support the Head of International Market Development (HIMD) on key commercial projects, including pricing reviews, new market assessments and distributor incentive programmes.
  • Act as the key point of contact for distributor project briefs, reviewing proposals, assessing their commercial viability and providing clear recommendations and advice.
  • Coordinate product availability and shipment information, providing timely and accurate updates on product availability, lead times and shipment status through effective internal communication and cross-checking.

Requirements
  • Educated to degree level (ideally in a Business or related discipline).
  • Extensive years’ experience in a similar fast moving role in a commercial outward facing environment.
  • Strong data analysis to assist business strategy formulation.
  • Project management experience would be advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Advanced excel skills would be advantageous.
  • Experience of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as SAP or similar.
  • Good understanding of statistical methods and analytical techniques.
  • Basic finance and budgeting skills
  • Critical thinker and problem solver
  • Cultural understanding of different regions and countries.
