Commercial Analyst
London Victoria – 4 days in the office, 1 day work from home

As a Commercial Analyst at Ebury London, you will play a critical role in driving efficiency and performance across the revenue-generating functions of the business. You'll partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Data leadership, using data and analytics to optimise processes, improve forecasting accuracy, and support strategic decision-making. We're looking for a candidate with a few years of experience in a similar analytics or revenue operations role, who is confident working with data and translating it into clear, actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Revenue Analytics: Collect, analyse, and interpret data across the revenue funnel to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Build and maintain KPIs and dashboards that give leadership real-time visibility into pipeline health, conversion rates, and revenue performance.
  • Process Optimisation: Assess end-to-end revenue processes — from lead generation through to renewal — and identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies. Design and implement improvements to pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting workflows.
  • Forecasting & Reporting: Own regular reporting on revenue performance, pipeline metrics, and forecasts. Partner with Finance and Sales leadership to improve forecast accuracy and provide insights on growth opportunities, segmentation, and cross-sell/up-sell potential.
  • CRM & Systems Ownership: Maintain and continuously improve the CRM and related revenue tech stack, ensuring data integrity and consistency. Train teams on best practices and drive adoption of new tools and processes.
  • Automation & Tooling: Identify opportunities to automate manual, repetitive tasks across revenue workflows. Work with technology and data teams to implement scalable solutions.
  • Strategic Support: Support cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives by providing data-driven analysis and recommendations. Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product to align revenue operations with wider business goals.
  • AI-Enabled Analysis: Comfortable using AI tools (e.g. Gemini, Claude, or similar) to speed up analysis — for tasks like summarising data, drafting reports, or building quick models/scripts. Experience applying AI/LLM tools to streamline repetitive RevOps workflows, such as data cleaning, CRM hygiene, or generating first-pass insights from large datasets.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field; Master's degree a plus.
  • 2–4 years of experience in a revenue operations, sales operations, commercial analytics, or similar analytical role, ideally within financial services or a related industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data tools such as Excel, SQL, and CRM systems (Salesforce or similar).
  • Solid understanding of the revenue lifecycle, from pipeline management to forecasting and renewals.
  • Experience working with BI/reporting tools (e.g. Sigma, Looker, Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data clearly to non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable managing multiple priorities independently.
  • Collaborative mindset with proven success working across cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with financial products and markets is desirable.
