The Chief of Staff to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Chief Corporate Affairs Officer (CCAO) will serve as a critical strategic partner, acting as a key liaison between the marketing leadership and cross-functional teams. This role requires exceptional communication skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage complex projects while maintaining a holistic view of the organisation's marketing objectives.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

Strategic Leadership and Support:

  • Serve as the primary support and advisory role to the CMO and CCAO, helping to translate high-level strategic vision into actionable plans.
  • Coordinate and manage strategic planning processes, including quarterly and annual planning sessions.

Operational Management:

  • Optimise the CMO's and CCAO's workflow and prioritise strategic initiatives
  • Manage critical communication channels and coordinate meetings, including executive briefings and cross-functional strategy sessions
  • Act as a central point of coordination for marketing department projects and initiatives, creating and owning a new creative process across the Marcom organisation.

Project and Program Management:

  • Drive complex, cross-functional marketing projects from conception to completion
  • Develop and maintain project management frameworks and tools
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives

Internal and External Communication:

  • Facilitate communication between the marketing department and other organisational units
  • Prepare high-stakes presentations, executive briefs, and strategic documents
  • Represent the CMO and CCAO in meetings and serve as a strategic delegate when necessary
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 7-10 years of professional experience in marketing, consulting, or strategic roles
  • Proven track record of managing complex, high-impact projects
  • Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking and organisational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and marketing technologies
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Advanced strategic planning capabilities and expert level project management skills
  • Strong financial acumen with exceptional written and verbal communication
  • Data-driven decision-making
  • Innovative problem-solver and collaborative team player
  • Proactive and self-motivated, adaptive and resilient
