We are seeking a dynamic and driven Chief of Staff to work closely with our Group Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) in delivering on our growth ambitions. In this critical role, you will serve as a key advisor and operational leader, enhancing the effectiveness of our Executive team and ensuring seamless execution of strategic initiatives across the organization.


In addition, you will be instrumental in cultivating a positive team environment, mentoring team members, and spearheading our efforts to build a best-in-class, results-driven performance culture. Your efforts will improve collaboration across the organization, enabling more efficient operations and helping Capital.com deliver on its strategic vision.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Group Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) to execute the company’s strategic vision and operational plans, serving as a key advisor and leading preparation for meetings, presentations, and organisational planning
  • Lead the annual goal-setting process, ensuring alignment with relevant teams and stakeholders. Track and report on KPIs
  • Lead performance management within the teams, collaborating with leadership and managers to build high-performing teams. Drive the adoption of initiatives such as mentorship schemes, and partner with L&D on team development needs. Focus on fostering a strong team culture and enhancing our employer brand
  • Partner with the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) to conduct in-depth market analysis, identifying trends, opportunities, and competitive dynamics. Provide actionable insights and recommendations. Identify and assess potential business opportunities, partnerships, and acquisitions
  • Partner with the Group Chief Operating Officer (COO) to develop and implement initiatives that enhance operational excellence and drive growth. Utilize data analysis to provide insights and recommendations. Identify areas for process improvement and operational efficiency, and implement solutions to optimize our operations
  • Work closely with the Executive team, Strategic Initiatives Office and other Chiefs of Staff on delivering key strategic projects across the organisation
  • Facilitate collaboration across departments, building a network across the organization to improve operational efficiency
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets, working closely with the Finance team on MDA preparation
  • Partner with Finance to assess new and ongoing projects and initiatives
  • Plan, lead, and execute strategic projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and aligned with company objectives.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated success in delivering impactful results across diverse and challenging environments. Experience in consulting, investment banking or a start-up/scale-up essential
  • Demonstrated success in driving strategic initiatives and managing complex projects
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Proven experience in leading and managing cross-functional teams
  • Frequent travel to regional offices will be required.

Would be a plus:

  • Experience in a FinTech or a similarly regulated industry
  • Additional language skills are a plus.
