The Role
As Chief of Staff to the CEO, you'll be responsible for supporting the CEO and CFO with executing on MVF's corporate strategy. You will play a critical part in the next phase of MVF's journey, driving forward strategic and operational projects pertinent to delivering the corporate strategy and supporting the CEO office management.
What you'll be doing:

  • Strategic Advisory and Investor Engagement
  • Crafting and fine-tuning material for the Board, working closely with the CEO and CFO to align on strategy, messaging and content and collaborating with FP&A team on inputs
  • Running commercial preparations on the business for potential future investors (debt/equity)
  • Leading the corporate strategy workstream to build the MVF equity story and increase awareness of MVF's brand to future investors (through LinkedIn, events, thought leadership, website articles)
  • Project Management:
  • Leading on special cross-functional operational projects monitoring timelines, flagging blockers with the CEO and ensuring the successful execution of initiatives.
  • CEO Office Management
  • Supporting the CEO in meetings by documenting decisions, action items and ensuring follow-up
  • The point person for CEO initiatives to ensure they're joined up, summarising and presenting project outcomes to the Executive Leadership Team
  • Organising the monthly MBRs and maintaining a pulse on daily operations in collaboration with senior managers and functional leaders
  • Working with the Private Equity Board and other internal stakeholders to coordinate key corporate and internal events e.g. investor briefings, monthly board meetings


What we're looking for:
This role is a mix of corporate strategy and strategic operations, ideal for someone with 4 - 6 years background in strategy, operations, M&A, or executive-level business support.

  • A strategic mindset and toolkit, gained via experience in a strategy consulting firm or comparable environment
  • Tenacity, ambition, intellectual horsepower with a bias to action, strong business acumen, growth mindset, and advanced analytical skills
  • Comfortable working at pace
  • Highly numerate with an ability to interpret and understand project plans, budgets, and financial targets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, you will be required to create clear, concise and impactful presentations
  • Project management skills, with proven experience delivering strategic projects
  • High EQ with the ability to work collaboratively, building trust and bringing people together towards common goals using strong personal influencing skills
  • Resilient and equipped to deal with challenging conversations and robust business discussions
