Role Overview

The Business Development Manager role supports Kepler's new business efforts across the UK and Europe, working closely with the Managing Director to support new client acquisition. It is an execution-focused role: keeping the sales pipeline accurate and up to date, leading partnership development with relevant clients and intermediaries, supporting pitch and RFP activity and producing high-quality sales materials. The role does not carry ownership of BD strategy, revenue target or team management  these sit with more senior members of the UK Central Team and there is the opportunity to develop working relationships and benefit from the support of the US Business Development team.

Our London office is based in Farringdon with a hybrid office-based and home working policy currently in place. This is a role designed for a candidate with previous work experience. About the Role

  • Maintain the UK/Europe sales pipeline tracker and prepare regular, accurate pipeline status updates for the Managing Director
  • Support senior team members in sourcing new pitch opportunities by helping to research prospects and coordinate outreach
  • Help manage relationships with media consultants day-to-day — logging updates, scheduling touchpoints, and flagging new RFP opportunities to senior leads
  • Join prospect intro calls and meetings, take ownership of follow-up actions, and track them through to completion
  • Manage the RFI/RFP response process (timelines, process, delivery, design etc): coordinating input from subject-matter contributors, formatting responses, and tracking deadlines. Ensure the Kepler narrative is being brought forward 
  • Support with pitches, ensure best pitch practice 
  • Draft and tailor sales materials for prospective clients, for review and sign-off by senior team members
  • Work seamlessly with Marketing - support for website and external sales/marketing content, working to guidance provided by executives and department leads.

Desired Experience and Skills

  • 3–5 years' experience in media, advertising or business development, ideally including some agency or holding-company exposure
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce polished, client-ready materials
  • Working knowledge of the adtech ecosystem and media buying platforms preferred
  • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines
  • A proactive, collaborative approach, comfortable working closely with senior stakeholders across the business

Salary

Our compensation strategy is designed to attract, reward, and retain the talented employees that drive Kepler’s growth and success. We aim to offer competitive direct compensation that demonstrates the value we place on our employees and their well-being.

This role offers a salary of £50,000 per annum.
