King & Spalding, a leading global law firm, seeks a Business Development Coordinator to provide support to the London Disputes Practice. The role will also contribute to general Business Development activities across the London office for the litigation, international arbitration and investigations practices and provide support to the wider European team in these practices and coordinating across the global Business Development team, as needed.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with the preparation of pitches, proposals, and RFPs for the London office litigation, international arbitration, regulatory and investigations practices, and provide support to the global practice on an as needed basis.
- Support the creation and maintenance of marketing materials, experience lists, and credentials.
- Help coordinate directory and award submissions, including data gathering and scheduling interviews.
- Provide administrative and delegate management support for events and webinars.
- Provide support for sponsorships and coordinate all activities involved with sponsorship commitments.
- Gather and centralise experience lists utilising the firm’s experience management database, Foundation, for use in pitches, RFPs, presentations, submissions, and other materials, working in our database to enter relevant information
- Conduct research on clients, competitors, and industry trends.
- Track Business Development activities and assist with reporting for partners and internal meetings.
- Support client targeting and business planning initiatives.
- Collaborate with the global Business Development team on cross-practice projects.
- Assist with lateral onboarding activities for practice areas, working closely with other team members.
- Provide additional ad hoc support as needed for London office priority initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong organisational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Team player with a flexible and proactive approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM systems desirable but not required.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Prior experience in legal or professional services Business Development/Marketing desirable.
