About Lendable

Lendable is on a mission to build the world's best technology to help people get credit and save money. We're building one of the world’s leading fintech companies and are off to a strong start:

  • One of the UK’s newest unicorns with a team of just over 700 people

  • Among the fastest-growing tech companies in the UK

  • Profitable since 2017

  • Backed by top investors including Balderton Capital and Goldman Sachs

  • Loved by customers with the best reviews in the market (4.9 across 10,000s of reviews on Trustpilot)

So far, we’ve rebuilt the Big Three consumer finance products from scratch: loans, credit cards and car finance. We get money into our customers’ hands in minutes instead of days.

We’re growing fast, and there’s a lot more to do: we’re going after the two biggest Western markets (UK and US) where trillions worth of financial products are held by big banks with dated systems and painful processes.

Join us if you want to
  1. Take ownership across a broad remit. You are trusted to make decisions that drive a material impact on the direction and success of Lendable from day 1

  2. Work in small teams of exceptional people, who are relentlessly resourceful to solve problems and find smarter solutions than the status quo

  3. Build the best technology in-house, using new data sources, machine learning and AI to make machines do the heavy lifting

About the role

We're looking for a curious, ambitious and data-driven Associate Product Manager (APM) to join our product team in UK Motor and help shape the future of fintech. You'll work across our motor product - from onboarding new customers through to supporting them over the life of their agreement.

This is a role for someone early in their product career who wants to move fast and learn a lot. You'll own real problems from day one, with the support of an experienced product team around you.

APMs at Lendable take day-to-day ownership of their area and work closely with teams such as Engineering, Credit, Growth and Operations. It's your job to break complex problems into bite-sized deliverables and prioritise the work with the biggest impact. You'll be comfortable getting into the details, while keeping an eye on the bigger picture.

Experience
  • A bias for action, you move fast, get things done, and iterate quickly based on feedback

  • 1+ years of experience as a Product Manager or in an adjacent role

  • Data proficiency, you're comfortable using SQL or Python to query data and run your own analysis

  • Familiarity with AI tools like Claude Code, Cursor or Codex

  • Bonus: experience in a start-up or scale-up environment

What you'll be doing:
  • Helping drive the growth of our motor finance product - improving conversion and the customer experience across web and app

  • Contributing to the product roadmap and working with an industry-leading Engineering team to deliver it

  • Collaborating with teams across the business, including other Product Managers, Engineering, Credit, Data Science, Finance and Operations

  • Championing data-driven decisions - designing hypothesis-driven tests, measuring outcomes, and iterating quickly based on what you learn

  • Using AI to build tools, automate manual workflows, and help your team make faster, better decisions

  • Getting to grips with a fast-paced fintech landscape, balancing innovation with compliance and risk

  • Partnering with design to keep our customers' needs at the heart of what we build

How you'll contribute to the Product Team's objectives:
  • Autonomy - you're comfortable taking ownership of your area and being accountable for delivery and customer impact. With support, you can run standups and planning sessions with your engineering team, and you proactively flag and help resolve anything blocking progress.

  • Problem solving - you can break complex business problems into bite-sized chunks.

  • Analysis - you're comfortable using SQL or Python to dig into the data and turn it into real-world actions.

  • Working at speed - you make things happen. You're not afraid to roll up your sleeves and take responsibility. You work at pace and enjoy a healthy dose of pressure.

  • Communication - you communicate clearly and succinctly, in writing and out loud, and adjust your style to suit your audience, from business owners to engineers. You don't have a big ego and you're happy to change your mind when presented with a good argument.

  • Collaboration - you build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, so you can work together effectively to deliver.

  • Process - you understand (or are keen to learn) the software development lifecycle and how Product supports each stage.

  • Agility - not just Agile, but the adaptability to thrive in an unstructured, fast-moving, high-growth environment.

Why join us?
  • Work on high-impact products that redefine financial access and empower customers.

  • Learn fast alongside an experienced product team with a track record of building category-defining fintech.

  • A culture of ownership, speed, and continuous learning.

Interview process
  • A quick intro call with someone from the Talent or Product team (15- 30 minutes)

  • A take-home exercise to complete in your own time, plus a debrief (via video)

  • Final round: MD interview, Head of Product / Group PM interview, CPO interview

Life at Lendable
  • Winning team: the opportunity to scale up one of the world’s most successful fintech companies

  • Flexible working: flexible approach tailored to each role. Hybrid roles require three days in-office weekly; fully remote roles include regular opportunities for in-person connection through socials and off-sites

  • Socials & connection: opportunities and events to come together, socialise, and get to know each other beyond the office walls

  • Health coverage: support for your physical and mental wellbeing, including private health cover

  • Retirement & savings: long-term financial wellbeing through retirement savings plans

  • Employee referral programme: earn a competitive bonus when you refer successful new team members

  • Office meals & snacks: enjoy a fully stocked kitchen, plus complimentary lunches prepared by in-house chefs on in-office days at select locations

  • Sustainable commuting: cycle-to-work and electric vehicle salary sacrifice schemes available in select locations
