About the role

We are looking for a creative, talented and passionate PR Assistant Manager to join our Europe team, to
work across all areas of PR, focusing on driving the brand and product strategy for engaging media (consumer and corporate), VIP, influencers and makeup artists. This role will work very closely with the regional PR agencies (Germany, Italy, Ireland) to develop, implement, report and analyse strategic PR plans to launch new territories, stores, NPD, brand partnerships and brand campaigns and engage with the diverse Charlotte Tilbury audience to drive increased brand awareness and sales.

This role will report into one of EU’s PR Managers, and the role will involve working very closely alongside Head of Communication for EU, Global PR and Marketing teams as well as EU Marketing, Commercial, Education and Training team.

As a Assistant PR Manager you will

  • Support PR manager to Develop strategies and exceptional PR plans tailored to the European countries, to grow brand awareness of Charlotte Tilbury (person and brand) amongst targeted audiences and drive sales.
  • Promote and respect core brand values and work closely with all departments (from sales, digital, training & education, NPD, global, design and marketing) and partners to deliver integrated campaigns and relevant content.
  • Be the key partner to our in-market agencies. Develop and secure consistent, regular, quality and on-Brand advocacy (print, .com, broadcast and social) across all key advocacy outlets with key focus on ROI.
  • Work closely with the commercial teams to build retailer relationships, develop, and execute plans to boost retailer moments.
  • Drive a digital focus to support our owned e-comm channel, affiliate program and professional makeup artist program within Europe.
  • Work closely with marketing to devise and deliver record breaking launch activity for each new launch (product or region).
  • Create and execute communication strategies and plans to support brand portfolio and NPD, driving brand pillars and delivering on key brand objectives.
  • Propose launch plans for key NPD activity and marketing campaigns
  • Deliver plans for securing and utilising celebrity and digital influencer credentials.
  • Manage relevant VIP and talents with the support of PR manager and Global, alongside sample Managemen
  • Key reporting on KPIs and tracking result and support on budget management.

Who you will work with

  • You will sit in our EU PR team, reporting directly into our wonderful PR Manager, EU.
  • You will work closely alongside Head of Communication for EU, Global PR and Marketing teams as well as EU Marketing, Commercial, Education and Training team!

About you

  • A strong, proven background in Beauty PR experience is essential, with both an agency or in-house background as desirable (if coming from an agency, we would be looking at an Account Director or above.
  • Experience executing locally ideal (EU countries) and fluency in one EU language other than English is ideal
  • Experienced in devising and implementing strategic plans with creative flair.
  • Can work under pressure and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
  • Have a flexible and professional attitude, you are hungry to learn and welcome challenge!
  • Have exceptional organisational and prioritising skills, with great attention to detail and is results-driven.
  • Have experience in the digital landscape – the PR team manage all digital mega influencers.
  • Great relationship-building skills and the ability to network at all levels. Unflappable and enjoys working in a fast-paced commercial environment.
  • Strong writing skills and a creative flair when creating reports and presentations, editing, proof-reading, and compiling documents with a meticulous eye for detail.
  • Passionate about stories and current affairs, with a finger on the pulse of social and news trends
    Ability to work autonomously and at a hands-on level, with the ability to show initiative and foresight.
    Energetic, driven and ambitious with a strong team spirit
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines in a timely manner and ruthlessly prioritise.
  • An excellent communicator comfortable presenting, able to influence and effectively articulate your point of view.
  • Excellent English written and verbal skills.
  • A natural curiosity, passion and love for the beauty industry.
