The Assistant General Manager role supports our General Managers as the guardians of our stores, owning everything from the experience we provide for our customers, to coaching and motivating our teams so that we successfully deliver our mission to serve our customers high-quality food and coffee at affordable prices. Moving as one, you manage the small things to make the magic happen and ensure our home is the home of our customers and our team members too.
What’s involved?
- Inspire, motivate and support your store teams to keep bringing their best selves to work every day
- Ensure the daily success of your stores so that we are providing the best service to our customers
- Be a brand ambassador, living our values and upholding our brand standards to the highest level
- Responsible for accurate stock ordering, rota management and maximising commercial opportunity in your stores
- Responsible for all elements of store delivery in the General Manager’s absence

- Some experience and a strong passion for managing, coaching, and developing people
- A commercial mindset that understands all the components of driving delivery across multiple locations

What We Do
Our mission is to bring products people love straight to their corner. We're starting with specialty coffee and local goods that we fulfill for pickup or delivery through our mobile app and micro-retail locations (street carts, micro kiosks, pickup windows). Our long term vision is to offer local businesses the same technology and tools, making their goods accessible in new neighborhoods for people to discover and love.
