Taboola Company Culture & Values
Frequently Asked Questions
Employees at Taboola often describe the culture as collaborative, inclusive, low-ego, and genuinely supportive. Teams are known for jumping in to help each other, sharing knowledge openly, and celebrating wins together. Through global and local all-hands meetings, we regularly share updates, lessons learned, and company milestones, while our global “Ring the Bell” Slack channel gives colleagues a space to recognize great work, and eachother, in real time.
Our employee-led ERGs create opportunities for connection, learning, and open conversation across the company. Across our offices, the Workplace Experience team also brings people together through volunteer days, global gatherings like Sales Kickoff, and wellness events ranging from yoga to teacup-pig therapy.
Many employees say the environment feels personal rather than transactional. Colleagues share parts of their lives outside of work, and leadership reinforces that openness through small-group roundtables and ongoing dialogue. We also actively listen to feedback through pulse surveys, open-door conversations, and transparent engagement on platforms like Glassdoor.
Taboola has been recognized year after year by Great Place to Work, Duns, Campaign, Digiday, and Built In for its workplace culture. At the heart of it all is a strong sense of community. From celebrations and happy hours to wellness programs and everyday recognition, our Workplace Experience team helps ensure employees feel welcomed, supported, and able to focus on doing their best work.
Collaboration at Taboola is global, cross-functional, and highly connected. Teams work closely across regions and time zones, using shared tools like Jira, Slack, and G-Chat to stay aligned and move projects forward. Many initiatives are owned by cross-regional teams, which gives employees exposure to different markets and perspectives while also creating opportunities to take real ownership of their work.
As Taboola has expanded its performance marketing platform beyond search and social with products like Realize, Predictive Audiences, and Deeper Dive, collaboration across teams has been essential. From building and testing new technologies to bringing them to market, these efforts bring together people from engineering, sales, account management, marketing, legal, and other teams around the world.
That same spirit shows up when it matters most. During challenging moments, colleagues across offices have stepped in to support one another—taking on extra work so teammates in places like Tel Aviv or California could focus on their families and safety. It’s a reflection of the strong relationships and sense of responsibility people feel toward one another across Taboola.
Recognition at Taboola happens often and in many forms, both formally and in the day-to-day moments of work. Teams celebrate wins in real time through global and local channels, along with discretionary rewards like spot bonuses.
Every other week, regional teams host a “Taboola Toast,” where employees share updates, highlight successful projects, and talk through lessons learned from challenges they’ve overcome together. Many regions and departments also run peer-nominated recognition programs, giving employees the chance to call out colleagues who’ve made a meaningful impact.
Recognition is also part of our biannual performance reviews, but it’s not limited to those moments. Regular one-on-ones with managers create space for ongoing feedback, appreciation, and conversations about growth.
Externally, we celebrate employees by nominating them for industry awards and highlighting their work across our social channels. Sharing these stories helps showcase the people behind Taboola’s progress and gives employees a platform to tell the company’s story, because they’re the ones shaping it every day.
