Lead and evolve Quilter's engineering capability: define strategy and operating model; build platform, DevSecOps, quality engineering, and AI-assisted delivery practices; embed secure, automated CI/CD and developer self-service; manage vendors, governance, and cultural change to deliver software safely and at pace.

Design, build and maintain cloud-native data platform capabilities across Azure, Databricks and Microsoft Fabric. Deliver reusable, secure, and automated platform components (IaC, CI/CD), embed security-by-design, enable federated data use for analytics, ML and reporting, and support observability, monitoring, and platform reliability while collaborating with product, engineering, security and business stakeholders.

Lead a hands-on analytics role to design and build a scalable cost-to-serve model, integrate and transform multi-source data, ensure data quality, run scenario and statistical models, and translate outputs into actionable operational excellence insights for stakeholders.

Provide governance, coordination and process management for the investment function. Maintain governance documents, support investment decision-making, drive process improvements and automation with Technology, design KPIs, and liaise with stakeholders, auditors and external providers to reduce operational risk and strengthen resilience.

Provide second-line compliance advice on FCA rules, monitor registers (personal dealing, gifts & hospitality, conflicts), analyze breaches, support SMCR and regulatory reporting, produce compliance reports, and maintain stakeholder relationships across first and second line.

Provide independent oversight of financial advice quality and regulatory controls, perform assurance checks and thematic reviews, support remediation, update systems with review outcomes, and work with planners to ensure good customer outcomes and compliance with Consumer Duty.

Manage end-to-end trade processing and settlement across multiple asset classes, handle reconciliations and exception resolution with custodians and counterparties, own regulatory reporting (MiFID II, EMIR, SFTR, Dodd-Frank), support onboarding of funds and instruments, drive process improvements and automation, manage third-party providers, and support UAT, governance, audits and compliance activities.

Support Financial Planners by preparing suitability reports, research and analyse pensions, investments, protection and estate planning, maintain client records, use internal systems to produce documentation, pursue professional qualifications, and collaborate with compliance and administration to deliver accurate client outcomes.

Lead integration, operation, and strategic delivery of an outsourced platform. Manage vendor relationships, SLAs, roadmap, integrations, incidents, budgets, and compliance. Own product backlog, drive continuous improvement, coordinate migrations/upgrades, and report platform performance to senior leadership while leading a small platform team.

Lead Quilter's inorganic growth across UK wealth management by sourcing, valuing, negotiating and executing acquisitions and investments. Manage due diligence, structuring, advisers and cross-functional teams; present to executive governance; oversee post-acquisition integration, portfolio performance and regulatory compliance while developing a high-performing M&A team and championing AI-driven improvements.

Deliver end-to-end technology and business audits across planning, fieldwork, and reporting. Assess IT risks and controls (applications, infrastructure, cyber, third-party, data/privacy, resilience), perform risk-focused testing and root cause analysis, produce clear findings and recommendations, support issue assurance, audit planning, and use of data analytics to strengthen governance and controls.

Coordinate and drive front-office initiatives by translating priorities into tasks, tracking progress, raising risks, producing status reporting, supporting governance, and providing basic commercial analysis to inform senior decision-making. Engage stakeholders across front office, Operations, Risk & Compliance, Finance and Technology to ensure alignment and delivery.

Support product and change delivery by eliciting and documenting functional and non-functional requirements, conducting process and systems analysis, running workshops, coordinating UAT, configuring and testing releases, creating user documentation, and monitoring production performance to deliver business-aligned solutions.
