Manage and grow an SME employee benefits portfolio covering Group Risk and Group Healthcare. Provide renewal consulting, rate reviews, proactive account management, client communications, presentations, and advice. Build client and provider relationships, identify retention and cross-selling opportunities, coordinate administrative support, and ensure timely query resolution. Maintain regulatory compliance, accurate documentation, competency, and quality through peer reviews and continuing professional development.

Manage end-to-end renewals for risk management services, including scopes of work, fee agreements, contract variations, key dates, and delivery coordination. Build trusted client and stakeholder relationships, track portfolio performance, and improve processes and templates. The role requires strong commercial contract understanding, organization, attention to detail, and proactive issue resolution. Risk qualifications such as NEBOSH are advantageous but not required.

Lead Group technical accounting: maintain policies (IFRS/UK GAAP), prepare technical papers, manage EIR models, acquisition accounting, restructurings, FX and hedge accounting, share‑based payments, IFRS16/18 implementation, statutory statement review, auditor liaison, and strengthen controls and documentation across multi‑entity group finance.

Support creation of high-quality pitches, RFPs, proposals and sales materials for the Specialty division. Maintain a library of bid responses and case studies, translate technical content into clear commercial messaging, design on-brand documents/presentations, and collaborate with sales, marketing and SMEs to meet deadlines and improve sales enablement.

Support first-line Compliance by performing horizon scanning, sanctions screening, control design for Consumer Duty and product governance, delivering monthly Compliance MI and regulatory reports, and logging/managing breaches, complaints and errors with root-cause investigation.
