The AI Engineer will create AI-driven solutions for commercial operations, leveraging ML and analytics to optimize workflows and decision-making. This role involves building production systems, managing commercial data infrastructures, and collaborating with sales and marketing teams for strategic improvements.

Identify and qualify new business opportunities via outbound prospecting and inbound lead responses. Conduct discovery calls, maintain CRM records in Salesforce, arrange demos with Account Executives, follow leads through early pipeline stages, and support the Business Development team with sales-related and cross-functional activities. Occasional domestic and international travel.

Build and maintain platform features, partner with product and customers to design solutions, use and validate AI-assisted tools, reason about system interactions and data flows, contribute to technical decisions and code quality, and own outcomes end-to-end.

Design, build and deploy LLM-powered production applications and ML models for Sales, Marketing and Customer Success. Prototype rapidly, integrate CRM and analytics data, measure model performance and commercial impact, and establish responsible AI practices including evaluation, monitoring and explainability.

Run and build the internal legal function for a LegalTech scale-up: manage end-to-end customer SaaS contracts, maintain playbooks and contract trackers, support renewals and supplier onboarding, run GDPR and data protection records, assist infosec with due diligence, and provide first-line legal support across teams.

Provide part-time (≈10 hrs/week) legal leadership: negotiate SaaS and commercial contracts, own data protection/GDPR compliance, advise on corporate governance, support fundraising, manage disputes and data incidents, and act as product counsel for AI/privacy issues.
