Develop client relationships and business opportunities across GB transmission and distribution networks, lead multidisciplinary teams, mentor colleagues, and represent DNV externally. Apply expertise in network planning, digitalisation, electricity markets, policy, regulation and innovation, with desirable hands-on knowledge of field devices, SCADA, OT and utility communications protocols.

Design and advise on HVDC and AC transmission systems, including feasibility studies, electrical system studies, dynamic modeling, stability analysis, control and protection strategies, equipment specifications, tendering, and commissioning tests. The consultant will support customers, develop proposals, contribute to service strategy and industry standards, represent DNV externally, pursue business development, and mentor junior consultants. Travel of up to 20% is expected.

Design and advise on FACTS and AC transmission systems, including feasibility studies, electrical system studies, dynamic modeling, stability analysis, control and protection strategies, specifications, tendering, and commissioning tests. Prepare reports and commercial proposals, support business development, represent DNV at industry forums, contribute to standards, and mentor junior consultants. The role involves international collaboration and up to 20% travel.

Lead DNV’s global FACTS consultancy growth through sales, business development, thought leadership, proposition development, and customer engagement. Safeguard technical quality for bids and service delivery, coordinate FACTS consultants and project teams, develop organizational capabilities, and represent DNV at industry conferences and technical institutes. The role serves utilities, system operators, developers, investors, governments, EPCs, and OEMs, with approximately 20% international travel.
