AI and analytics company C5i announced it will fully acquire London-based Datavid, a data and AI company that helps organizations transform fragmented and unstructured data into AI-ready formats using data and graph engineering, knowledge graph design and semantic modeling.
According to a news release, the acquisition will expand C5i’s footprint in Europe and strengthen its nearshore delivery capabilities in the United Kingdom and Romania.
C5i has been deploying generative and agentic AI use cases through its Agent5i platform across areas including supply chain and network planning, product engineering, marketing optimization and risk prediction and management.
Combining Datavid’s expertise will strengthen C5i’s ability to deploy knowledge graph capabilities, enabling AI systems to better understand context across disparate data sources, and support more explainable, reliable outcomes. Datavid will also be able to scale its technology across C5i’s broader client base, while its clients gain access to C5i’s wider portfolio of AI and analytics capabilities.
“Most enterprises have fragmented, context-poor data that limits what AI can meaningfully do with it. Knowledge graphs solve that foundational problem. They bring structure, relationships and context to complex multi-source data, giving AI systems something they can genuinely reason over rather than just pattern-match against. Datavid has spent years helping organizations in regulated industries connect complex, multi-source data into coherent, queryable knowledge structures that AI can actually reason over. Partnering with C5i brings together complementary depth in analytics and AI implementation, and gives our clients a more complete path to AI that doesn’t just generate outputs, it supports decisions that people can understand, defend and act on with confidence,” Co-Founder and CEO of Datavid Balvinder Dang said in a statement.
