About the Position

We are looking for an experienced Workplace Services and Experience Manager to help us ensure optimal performance and uninterrupted operations across our cafes and food service areas, reception and mail services and conference centre operations. The scope of work will include (but not be limited to) managing janitorial services, waste management, pest control, building maintenance, as well as kitchen and pantry equipment.

Our office environment has diverse operational and design needs. You'll liaise with the parties involved in designing, building and managing our amenity spaces—including our food service operators, consultants, architects, engineers, project managers, facilities managers, equipment suppliers and manufacturers—to ensure those needs are met with the right solutions.

Additional responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Planning budgets and managing vendors, contractors and external suppliers to ensure quality service delivery and value for money
  • Sourcing and evaluating service providers, negotiating contracts to secure favourable terms and monitoring vendor performance against established metrics
  • Developing and implementing KPI and SLA standards for all operational areas and driving continuous improvement
  • Coordinating equipment deliveries, inspections, installations and commissioning with appropriate teams across Jane Street
  • Mentoring and leading a team (including outsourced providers) to deliver excellent service
  • Proactively identifying and resolving workplace challenges
  • Creating and supporting a positive, inclusive and vibrant workplace culture that encourages relationships and supports employee well-being
About You
  • Have 10+ years of experience in a workplace services or facilities management environment
  • Critical thinker with a practical understanding of structural, mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems specific to food service environments
  • Have a strong professional network in the workplace services and hospitality industry, along with some expertise managing third-party vendors and service partners
  • Have strong budget management and financial acumen with experience identifying cost optimisation opportunities
  • Flexible and reliable team player who can work the occasional early morning and evening hours (with some notice)
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator; can speak comfortably in a large group
  • Take a hands-on, highly collaborative approach to your work
  • Fluent in English
