What You'll Bring:

We’re looking for a Senior Fraud Specialist to join our growing team. 

Day to Day You’ll Be:

  • Identity and Fraud Expertise: You will develop a deep and comprehensive understanding of the features, benefits, and applications of the identity verification and fraud prevention solutions we offer. This will support and enable the sale of these products and solutions into a variety of sectors.

  • New Business: Responsible for helping to drive and enable new business growth through close daily collaboration with UK Sales.

  • Sales: Delivering against a personal commission-based sales target and defined objectives, which feed into and align with the wider Fraud & TransUnion new business targets.

  • Industry Knowledge: You will stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive offerings to effectively communicate the value proposition to our customers.

  • Customer Engagement: Engaging with our customers to understand their needs, identify their pain points, and determine how TransUnion’s ID and Fraud solutions can address their specific requirements. You will provide personalised solution recommendations, highlighting the unique advantages of our offerings.

  • Sales Presentations and Demonstrations: You will excel at delivering compelling sales presentations, demonstrations, workshops, discovery sessions and webinars. You will be able to effectively highlight our ID and Fraud functionality, performance, and benefits, using persuasive techniques to influence buying decisions. Our ideal candidate will be able to adjust and adapt their Sales pitch techniques as required.

  • Specialist Sales Support: Collaboration is key, and you will work with our sales teams and provide support by offering product knowledge, technical assistance, and guidance during complex sales cycles. You will work closely with our sales managers and representatives to address customer inquiries and objections effectively.

  • Market Analysis: You will monitor and keep up to date with the latest market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback. You will be able to gather vital insights to identify opportunities, refine sales strategies, and provide input for product development and enhancement.

  • Sales Enablement: Creation of written content for tender responses and proposal submissions. Creation of PowerPoint content for use when pitching and presenting to clients. Working with UK Sales to create compelling commercials propositions and proposals.

  • Development: Training, coaching, and influencing of UK Sales, so that they are fully enabled to confidently sell TransUnion’s ID Verification and Fraud Prevention solutions.

  • Pipeline: Contributing to the management of a sales pipeline that tracks all opportunities, for resource prioritisation and accurate forecasting.

  • Product: Identifying ID & Fraud product enhancements and new product ideas. Working with Product Management to establish relevance/priority within product roadmaps. Gaining voice of customer feedback to influence future sales strategy and product development.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent.

  • Knowledge of Banking / Financial Services advantageous.

  • Track record years’ experience within technical sales / account management / sales / pre-sales.

  • Persuasive communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for building relationships with customers, delivering persuasive sales presentations, and effectively conveying information.

  • Analytical skills: Specialists should be capable of analysing sales data, market trends, and customer insights to identify opportunities for growth and adjust sales approaches accordingly.

  • Demonstratable ability to present confidently to customers.

  • Proven success rate at levels above sales quota.

  • Knowledge/Expertise/Experience supporting/selling any of the following areas:

    • Identity Verification

    • Fraud Prevention

    • Credit Reference Agency data and solutions

    • UK & International Anti Money Laundering

    • Fraud Software – Advanced Analytics, Data Orchestration, Rules Based Solutions, Scorecards

    • Behavioural Solutions

    • Device Risk Assessment

    • Document and Biometric Verification

  • Experience of engagement with senior stakeholders.

  • Ability to influence, pro-actively take ownership of tasks and work on own initiative is necessary.

  • Ability to collaborate with partners and cross-functional teams to develop business opportunities.

  • The ability to think strategically and develop sales strategies to target specific markets, industries, or customer segments is crucial for specialists.

  • Experience using Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
