This is a key role in the Workday support team. Reporting into the HCM Product Owner you will be responsible for the maintenance and support of Workday HCM, including business processes, controls, data and reporting. Please note this is a 6 month fixed term contract and requires a minimum of 2 days a week in our Cambridge office. 

What will I be doing?

You will serve as the IS partner supporting all HCM areas in Workday, including Annual Leave, Benefits, Onboarding, Probation etc. Providing consultation to HR process leads, gathering requirements, providing solutions and impact analysis as well as being a subject matter expert on current and upcoming Workday capabilities.

In addition, you will:

  • Create, maintain and facilitate training and documentation on Workday HCM areas,
  • Configure, test, validate and implement Business Process changes in Workday,
  • Assist in support of integrations, security and recurring events such as Workday updates,
  • Maintain and update system configuration, such as job profiles, grade profiles and benefits.

What experience do I need?

We welcome applications that have previous experience in HR operations and experience in HCM data management and reporting. Ideally you should be proficient in Workday HCM report writing (advanced Workday Report Writer and Calculated Fields) Have a solid understanding of Workday security features and controls, as well as:

  • Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle both planned and unplanned responsibilities
  • Ability to prioritize workload and execute tasks independently
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
