Workday Finance Functional Specialist 

We are looking for a Workday Finance Functional Specialist with deep expertise in Workday Financials and experience in at least three end-to-end implementations. In this role, you will be responsible for configuring, testing, and deploying Workday Financial modules while collaborating closely with business stakeholders. Your focus will be on aligning system capabilities with organizational needs and driving continuous process improvement.

As part of the Finance Data & Technology team within Group Finance, you will work alongside Workday experts and data analysts to reimagine finance processes through technology, embedding new functionalities that drive automation, optimization, and data-driven decision-making. Our mission is to empower finance teams with innovative solutions and actionable insights while maintaining a modern, high-performing, and fully automated financial application landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support end-to-end Workday Financials implementations, including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate business requirements into system configurations.
  • Configure Workday Financial modules such as Financial Accounting, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Asset Management, Expenses, Banking & Settlement, Revenue Management, and Financial Reporting.
  • Assist in data conversion, integration design, and testing efforts related to Workday Finance.
  • Provide functional expertise and best practices for Workday Finance processes.
  • Conduct user training and manage change processes to ensure smooth adoption of Workday Finance solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, working with Workday support if necessary.
  • Support post-implementation activities, enhancements, and continuous system improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in Workday Finance implementations.
  • Minimum 2 full lifecycle Workday Financials implementations as a functional consultant.
  • Hands-on experience in Workday Financials modules, including GL, AP, AR, Assets, Banking, Expenses, Revenue, or Procurement.
  • Hands-on experience with Business Process Framework (BPF), Workday Reporting, and Security configurations.
  • Experience with data migration, validation, and reconciliation processes in Workday.
  • You are innovative, have strong problem-solving capabilities and have the initiative to drive change with others while keeping in mind downstream dependencies.
  • Agility in a Fast-Paced Environment: Thrive in an energetic setting, where your adaptability and quick thinking are assets to keep pace with our continuous growth.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in a multi-entity, global financial environment.
  • Knowledge of Workday Accounting center or Prism Analytics.
  • Prior experience with financial transformation projects.
  • Ability to work in agile methodologies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Workday certifications in Financials.
