What’s the role about?

Reporting into our Wholesale Finance Manager, you’ll join our Finance team as a Wholesale Finance Assistant, supporting the processing, management and reporting of wholesale sales, with a primary focus on the US market. This role plays a key part in ensuring sales invoices, month-end activities and partner accounts are accurate and up to date, while working closely with internal teams and external partners to resolve queries and continuously improve processes.

Who you are

  • You’ll have previous experience in a wholesale finance or similar finance support role.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, with experience reconciling multiple datasets and producing clear summaries. Familiarity with Business Central is desirable, but not essential.
  • Confident working with sales invoices, credit notes, debit notes and cost of sales information.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with a proactive approach and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Self-motivated, collaborative and confident in improving processes and reporting.

What you’ll be doing

  • Supporting the processing and recording of wholesale sales invoices for global partners, with a primary focus on the US region.
  • Completing month-end postings, accruals and close activities for the US wholesale business, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Managing sales invoices, credit notes, debit notes and cost of sales information, ensuring partner accounts are accurate and up to date.
  • Working closely with IT to ensure the EDI invoicing process for the US market is maintained and running efficiently.
  • Reconciling partner invoice portals to shipping records, investigating and resolving discrepancies with the wholesale team.
  • Managing the receivables ledger, including payment allocation, following up outstanding balances and escalating overdue invoices.
  • Supporting the Wholesale Finance Manager with reporting, analysis, chargeback tracking, trade insurance administration and ad hoc finance support as required.
