OTC Markets Group Inc. is an established financial technology company redefining the future of public markets.  We operate trading platforms for the industry’s top broker-dealers to trade over 12,000 securities, from startups to global Fortune 500 companies.
We are seeking a VP, Market Data Sales - EMEA to join our Market Data team. This role reports directly to the EVP, Market Data. The ideal candidate is a seasoned capital markets sales leader who thrives on building relationships from the ground up and knows how to navigate the nuances of EMEA's diverse regional dynamics. This role owns OTC Markets' Market Data growth strategy across the entire EMEA region from distributors to exchanges making it a high-impact opportunity for someone who wants to shape both the commercial strategy and the brand presence of OTC Markets in the region.
OTC Markets operates in a hybrid work environment (at minimum three days in office). This position is in our London, UK office. We do not offer relocation for this role.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Develop and build OTC Markets’ brand and network in EMEA region across all business lines.
  • Lead Market Data business development efforts for entire EMEA region (distributors, sell side, buy side, exchanges)
  • Work with Market Data team to build awareness and build out distribution network in EMEA.
  • Develop creative strategies for driving data sales growth specific to EMEA.
  • Develop targeted strategies to enter new sub-regions or industries, adjusting approaches to local market dynamics and opportunities.
  • Manage EMEA market data distributor and end-client relationships.
  • Work with Market Data business development team to identify and develop new data distribution and end client relationships in the region.
  • Manage feedback loop from clients and work with our Market Data and Corporate Services teams to develop new offerings and solutions.
  • Oversee the team business development strategy and assist in maintaining targeted revenue and profitability.
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability for results.

Required Qualifications
  • Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in a Sales and revenue retention environment.
  • Significant experience (typically 5+ years) in equity capital markets.
  • Experience in EMEA Capital Markets.
  • Strong knowledge of and demonstrated history of performing lead generation through target account selling, outbound cold calling, and calling on marketing-generated leads.
  • Ability to deliver results while working in a highly independent and fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and impeccable business/global acumen.
  • Proven self-starter, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for results.
  • Top-notch verbal and written communication skills, responsiveness, and attention to details.
  • Proven presentation skills and experience presenting in-person and using Microsoft Teams or similar web presentation tools.
  • Previous experience in managing other members of a team.
Travel
This role may require occasional international travel to support global offices or industry events.
