The Role: 


The Vice President of Brand at Nothing Technology will be a visionary leader responsible for shaping and steering the brand's long-term trajectory. This role is crucial in establishing and maintaining defensible brand equity, narrating the brand story across all stakeholder touch-points, and forging influential brand partnerships.


Our Vice President of Brand will forge strategic brand partnerships, and manage relationships with top trendsetters in premium brand-driven markets and lead corporate communications. They will focus on building our influence through the most important cultural influencers in premium brand driven markets.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Responsibilities

  • Brand Strategy Development: Craft and execute innovative brand strategies that resonate with the target audience, ensuring consistent brand messaging across all channels.
  • Global Brand Communications Management: Lead corporate communications globally, ensuring the brand's voice and messaging are consistent and impactful across different regions.
  • Market Focus: Focus on driving the Nothing brand in premium, brand driven markets such as the UK, Japan, the US, and Germany, tailoring strategies to fit cultural and market-specific nuances.

Operational Responsibilities

  • Brand Partnerships: Forge and manage strategic brand partnerships that enhance brand visibility and equity.
  • Influencer Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with top trendsetters and the 1,000 most important cultural influencers in each target market.
  • Brand Storytelling: Own and articulate the brand story across all company stakeholder touchpoints, ensuring it aligns with the company's mission and values.

Leadership Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of marketing professionals, providing clear direction and fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as Marketing, Product Development, Sales, and Customer Service to ensure brand alignment and support business goals.

Performance Monitoring: 

  • Analyse marketing and customer data to inform strategic decisions and measure the effectiveness of brand initiatives.

Innovation and Growth

  • Trend Analysis: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to keep the brand at the forefront of innovation.
  • Brand Equity Development: Focus on mid to long-term goals to drive defensible brand equity, ensuring sustainable growth and market leadership.


Requirements:

  • Extensive and demonstrable years of experience in premium brand management, with a proven track record in developing and executing successful brand strategies, particularly in premium markets like the UK, Japan, US, and Germany
  • Ideally a background of driving brand within beauty or fashion industries 
  • Experience from driving brand for direct to consumer companies in high growth companies 
  • Experience in establishing and scaling brands through strategic influencer engagement and partnerships
