Video Content Producer, Capital XTRA

Your New Role: Video Content Producer, Capital XTRA

Are you a creative storyteller who loves bringing ideas to life through video? At Capital XTRA, we're looking for a Video Content Producer to lead the creation of standout video content across our digital platforms.
This is an exciting hands-on role for someone passionate about music, entertainment and culture, who enjoys bringing ideas to life from concept to screen. Whether you're producing talent-led formats, operating cameras at live events, filming artist interviews, capturing red carpets or crafting social-first edits, you'll play a key role in creating content that connects with audiences across every platform.
As a Video Content Producer at Global, you'll lead productions from planning through to delivery, working closely with presenters, producers, artists and the digital team to create engaging content that grows audiences and reflects the energy of one of the UK's leading entertainment brands.

As a Video Content Producer at Global, you will:

Key Responsibilities
  • Content Production (40%): Lead the production of high-quality video content from concept through to delivery. Produce, film and edit content for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and other digital platforms, ensuring content is engaging, platform-appropriate and audience-focused.
  • Creative Development (30%): Develop original content ideas, formats and franchises that drive audience growth. Work closely with presenters, producers, artists and the digital team to identify compelling content opportunities and maximise performance across platforms.
  • Studio, Events & Operations (30%): Lead video production across studio, location and live-event shoots, including multi-camera productions, artist interviews, red carpets, festivals and special projects. Operate cameras, audio and lighting equipment, support vision mixing where required and maintain high production standards across all output.
What You'll Love About This Role

Think Big: Work with some of the biggest names in music, entertainment and culture while helping shape the future of Capital XTRA’s video output.

Own It: Take full ownership of productions from idea generation and planning through to filming, editing, publishing and performance review.

Keep it Simple: Create content that cuts through, turning ideas into engaging stories tailored to how audiences consume content today.

Better Together: Collaborate with talented presenters, producers, creatives and digital specialists across one of the UK’s leading entertainment brands.

What Success Looks Like
  • Consistently delivering high-quality video content across Capital XTRA’s digital platforms.
  • Developing a steady pipeline of original content ideas and creative opportunities.
  • Successfully producing studio, location, live-event and red-carpet content.
  • Creating engaging short-form and long-form content that drives audience growth, retention and discovery.
  • Contributing to improvements in production workflows, creativity and team output.
What You'll Need
  • Production Expertise: Proven experience operating cameras, audio and lighting equipment, with the confidence to lead shoots independently in studio, on location and at live events.
  • Editing Skills: Strong experience using Adobe Premiere Pro with an understanding of pacing, storytelling, audience retention and platform-first editing styles.
  • Platform Knowledge: Strong understanding of YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and emerging social platforms, including what drives engagement and growth.
  • Creative Thinking: Confidence developing and pitching content ideas, formats and creative opportunities.
  • Production Ownership: Ability to independently manage projects from concept through to final delivery while balancing multiple priorities.
  • Organisation & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively across teams.
  • Passion for Entertainment: A genuine interest in music, entertainment, youth culture and digital content trends.
