Responsibilities:
Develop new relationships with prospects and markets and maintain ongoing contact at a senior level
Work with account management support during placement process to ensure quality submissions and presentations are prepared
Work with actuarial team to determine appropriate (re)insurance needs and communicate solutions effectively to clients and prospects
Negotiate with markets during the quotation and placement process of direct, facultative, and coverholder deals.
Work with contracts department to prepare contracts and coverholder agreements.
Represent Acrisure at client meetings, presentations, audits with (re)insurers, and other events as appropriate
Maintain ongoing relationships with clients and insurance markets
Work with account management, internal Claims, Operations and Finance departments to ensure administration of accounts is going smoothly and help resolve issues that require broker assistance.
Adherence to Company compliance and departmental procedures, including file management and documentation and placement process.

Experience required:
Marine market experience
Significant broking experience in a similar role
Dedicated and a collaborative team member.
Proactive and execution oriented, taking initiative to start and complete new tasks.
Takes ownership and responsibility for quality, completeness and accuracy of work.
Knowledge of direct, facultative and binding authority business preferable
Demonstrates a high level of technical ability and has the ability to work alongside actuaries and interpret actuarial results.
Has a strong appreciation and understanding of current issues affecting the Maritime industry.
