Business Overview
Our Clients & Strategy team covers Business Development, Investor Relations, External Relations, Sustainable Investment and Brand, Marketing & Communications, including Internal Communications.
It is responsible for all communications to investor prospects, existing investors and their asset consultants, as well as a broad range of other stakeholders, including governments and media.
 

The Role
 

The Vice President, RFx, EMEA joins the Global RFx team and will be an integral part of the RFx delivery overall. The VP will be responsible for the execution of the consultant and third-party database management strategy, as well as providing content management, content database administration and maintenance skills to the broader RFx team.

This role requires a details-focused, pragmatic, delivery-oriented mindset in a high-volume, time-critical environment, where competing priorities and tight deadlines are the norm. The VP ensures that work is appropriately prioritised, resources are deployed effectively, and outcomes are delivered to a high standard despite operational complexity. 


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and implement the database management strategy, with a focus on high quality data representation 
  • Prepare, and review database feeds and internally coordinate database submissions, using existing content while coordinating with subject matter experts to produce high-quality content. 
  • Ensure vendor outputs meet internal standards and agreed SLAs.
  • Act as a trusted point of contact for consultant databases internally and act as a main point of coordination between IFM and external providers.
  • Ensure all database submissions are accurate, compliant, and delivered on time. Run quality checks, reconciliations and exception tracking.
  • Help lead data centralization efforts within the RFx team and work with teams internally on the data availability and maintenance.
  • Actively assist the RFx team in the maintenance and development of the content management system (Loopio), including aspects around database administration, new content intake, SME sign-off and content reporting. 
  • Work and operate within the global RFx strategy, standards, and processes set by the Director, Global RFx.

  •  Implement and operate within the global RFx strategy, standards, and processes set by the Director, Global RFx. 
     

Business Performance
 

  •  Drive innovation in RFx processes and platforms, embedding automation, data insights, and cross functional collaboration to improve speed, consistency, and win rates 

  •  Ensure EMEA RFx efforts reflect global standards while responding to local market nuances 

  • Support complex or high-priority RFPs
  • Track turnaround times and content usage
     

Policy and Process Management
 

  • Provide oversight for consultant and third-party database management

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory standards across multiple regions

  • Assist with the governance of a centralized content library, ensuring accuracy and relevance
     

Your Background And Experience
 

  • 5-10 years in a client-related function in an asset manager 

  • 5+ years in an RFx or like function 

  • Working with 3rd party vendors

  • Bachelors degree 

  • Industry-specific qualification, e.g. IMC, CAIA, CFA or FINRA Series licenses preferred but not necessary 

  • Private markets asset classes exposure a positive but not necessary 

  • Impact of emerging technologies on the RFx production process 

  • Database functionality and client reach

  • Superior communication and quantitative skills

  • Meticulous attention to detail 

  • Well-developed stakeholder management skills 

  • Knowledge of consultant database management and vendors thereof

  • Strong analytical and project management capabilities

  • Demonstrable experience of/proficiency in the use (and deployment) of Gen AI tools
