This role leads strategy and orchestration for integration planning for the Aristocrat group of businesses. It is a critical role and requires demonstrated relevant experience managing large scale / complex deal-related integration programs (acquisitions, mergers and/or carve-outs) and tackling cultural integration challenges with a pragmatic approach.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in end-to-end integration management supported by management consulting, investment banking, business planning, or equivalent experience, preferably within the technology, media, or telecommunications sectors. This role is central to the execution of the corporate strategy over the next few years and will require a focus on both successful integrations and on driving the maturity of Aristocrat’s post-merger integration capabilities over time.

What You'll Do

Strategic Thought-Leadership 

  • Understand and communicate the financial business case for the deal, including tracking revenue and cost synergies
  • Focus on preserving and creating value from Aristocrat’s transactions
  • Defining the overall integration strategy, tightly aligned with the financial business case 
  • Assesses the impact of the integration on the business and lead design and execution of plans to preserve and create value
  • Identify and clarify issues, risks, and opportunities, and escalates as appropriate
  • Share best practices and experiences from prior transactions from across the enterprise
  • Optimize and adapt the on-going integration function

Integration Success

  • Establishing a go-to-strategy that fully encompasses the end-to-end process of integrations from pre-integration to in flight to post-integration to stakeholder strategy to key success measures
  • Establishing and managing the integration management office including internal and external parties
  • Mobilizing and leading remote teams and manages to schedule and deliverables
  • Createing highly effective partnerships, including regular clarification of roles and responsibilities, across teams
  • Developing governance process and communication plans to keep stakeholders updated; this requires identifying and establishing partnerships with stakeholders in the business and functions
  • Project managing a complex post-merger integration process, including coordination across all back-office functions and field personnel.
  • Drive urgency to deliver on key milestones and deliverables
  • Facilitating connections and resolves cross-functional issues and prioritization
  • Monitoring progress against goals/facilitates reviews
  • Creating content for management and target presentations and reports on integration plans and status

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of experience in M&A integration or large-scale business transformation programs
  • Direct or related mergers & acquisitions experience preferred
  • Strong leader of people with 10+ years of experience
  • Strong program management skills & experience
  • Strongly prefer experience in strategy, business management, consulting, project management, business operations, financial planning and analysis, or relationship management role
  • An MS, MA, MBA or like advanced degree in Business or related field is preferred
  • Experience in a global, multi-divisional organisation strongly preferred
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally extensively
  • The position is located in London, England
