While working with a world-class team of cybersecurity and technology experts, you will partner with teams across multiple disciplines, lines of business, regions and locations to respond to evolving regulatory and business requirements, and emerging threats.
The External Engagement and Cyber Risk Manager is an associate role within the CTC Client and Regulatory Engagement Management functions and develop and deliver cybersecurity content to the Firm's external stakeholders. The position will work closely with partners across the firm, including but not limited to colleagues in CTC, Global Technology, Legal, client sales and relationship teams in our businesses and Corporate Functions, as well as regional partners across the globe.
This role brings a consultant mindset to the work, showcasing a combination of expertise of cyber and technology risks and controls and highly effective interpersonal and organizational skills. Responsibilities include driving global operating models for external regulatory & client engagements, and supporting the business throughout those engagements, curating content libraries, reporting risks and insights to senior leadership and other stakeholders across the firm.
The role requires creativity, critical thinking, strong communication and influencing skills, and the ability to work across a large and complex organization, while following tight deadlines, and operate under pressure.
Job responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a consistent operating model for external engagements with regulators and clients including, managing requirements, developing response repositories, leveraging tooling, refining operating procedures.
- Partner with business stakeholders and legal teams to continuously enhance the strategic dialogue around the Firm's cyber and technology capabilities.
- Function as custodian for regulatory and client engagement content, applying a subject matter expertise to develop and cultivate content for use with senior internal and external audiences.
- Generate reporting and data analysis for senior leadership and business stakeholders that captures insights, supports strategic decision making and risk management processes.
- Lead external engagements, including presentation to executive audiences and risk management professionals.
- Identify areas of risks that might impact the business and recommend courses of action to address the risks, locally, regionally, or globally.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technology risk management, cybersecurity, or a related field
- Developing knowledge in data security, risk management, security governance, and analytical thinking
- Exposure to relevant regulatory frameworks and industry guidelines, such as NIST, ISO, CRI Profile, and regional or jurisdictional regulatory frameworks such as FFIEC, and GDPR
- Emerging knowledge of Risk Management Principles
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Excellent organizational skills with experienced in working in a Global organization is preferred
- Strong communication skills - ability to convey complex information at the appropriate level for the audience
- Strong presentation skills - ability to create professional presentations and present clear stories to large audiences
- Prior experience in technology risk reporting a plus.
