What will you be doing?

We are looking for a Commercial astute senior leader for the General Merchandise business to drive the launch and growth of products and services across Europe. This high-impact role will focus on developing new products & services in a variety of verticals across Europe, leading enterprise EMEA strategy, global consistency with local adaptability, and cross-market orchestration. The role will also be responsible for strengthening our existing Gateway business across the region.

You will bring a strong sales and commercial background combined with practical IT & B2B experience to identify opportunities, optimize category performance and deliver scalable revenue growth across the business. This role sits at the intersection of insight, innovation, and commercial impact, partnering directly with executive clients to influence how they invest, optimize, and grow through Circana’s advanced solutions in the General Merchandise business. This is a global enterprise leadership role for a bold, market-facing executive who thrives at the intersection of strategy, insight, and commercial transformation—and knows how to scale that impact across geographies, markets, and cultures.

This leader is energized by being in the market, building relationships, opening doors, and converting insight into opportunity. Act as a trusted advisor while actively driving pipeline, expanding client partnerships, and positioning the organization as an indispensable growth partner.

Job Responsibilities:

 

Executive Client Leadership

  • Build and deepen multi-threaded C-suite relationships (CMO, Chief Growth Officer, CEO level), guiding investment decisions that deliver measurable business outcomes
  • Reframe client challenges into transformational opportunities, leveraging data, analytics, and technology
  • Champion an inclusive, collaborative environment that encourages bold thinking, rapid experimentation, and shared ownership of results
  • Serve as executive sponsor across priority accounts to unlock long-term growth

Rapidly Scale the UK Gateways Business & Drive New Global Growth Engines

  • Own and accelerate growth of Circana’s Gateways business in the UK, establishing it as a core revenue engine
  • Build and expand strategic partnerships with major technology retailers and omnichannel players
  • Drive adoption, penetration, and differentiation through a clear, insight-led commercial strategy
  • Position Gateways as a critical, scalable offering within the global portfolio
  • Identify, incubate, and scale new revenue streams, solutions, and business models across European markets
  • Lead market entry and expansion strategies, tailoring offerings to local dynamics while maintaining global consistency
  • Partner across cross-functional Commercial teams to bring innovative, client-centric solutions to market
  • Champion cross-sell / up-sell strategies that expand account value and deepen client reliance on Circana
  • Strong Sales background and ability to negotiate and close complex deals
  • Reframe and Create Demand: Anticipate and proactively address buyer hesitation across markets, using insight-led storytelling to reframe challenges, uncover latent needs, and catalyze new opportunities at scale
  • Architect and lead a global partnership ecosystem across technology retailers, major multi-channel players, and strategic platforms—positioning Circana as a critical growth partner across markets and regions

  • Extensive experience of success leading commercial growth in GM, CPG, Retail, New Business Development & B2B/IT.

  • Demonstrated success architecting and executing enterprise level growth strategies, including largescale market expansion, ecosystem partnerships, and multimillion dollar deal negotiations
  • Proven track record leading transformational initiatives that modernize go to market models, unlock new revenue streams, and reposition businesses for long term competitive advantage
  • Experience owning or influencing enterprise-level P&L, investment decisions, and long-range financial performance across multiple markets
  • Proven ability to allocate capital and resources strategically to maximize growth, profitability, and long-term value creation
